I was born in Torrance, California, and grew up in Rancho Palos Verdes, where I still reside today. Having spent my entire life in this beautiful area, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the community and its surroundings.

My introduction to chiropractic care came through my experiences as a youth soccer player. Whenever I faced injuries, chiropractors played a crucial role in my recovery. It was during these treatments that I realized the incredible depth of knowledge chiropractors possess regarding the neuromusculoskeletal system, along with the precise skill required to perform manual therapy effectively. From middle school onward, I set my sights on a career in this field, ultimately choosing to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

I earned my doctorate from the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, graduating with honors in 2024. Before that, I completed my undergraduate studies in biological sciences at the University of California, Irvine, where I graduated cum laude in 2021.

My first role as a licensed chiropractor will begin in April 2024 at The Joint in Torrance. What I love most about this profession is the ability to relieve pain and improve patients’ conditions using nothing but my hands. While chiropractic care is physically demanding, I find the work incredibly rewarding and fulfilling.

Outside of work, soccer is a significant part of my life—I enjoy both playing and watching the sport. Living close to the beach, I often visit at sunset to take in the scenery, and I’m always on the lookout for new places with beautiful natural views. While I don’t have pets or children yet, my girlfriend and I are planning to get married soon.

If I had to pick four dream dinner guests, they would be Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta, Luis Enrique, and Pep Guardiola. As a dedicated soccer fan, I would love the opportunity to learn from some of the greatest minds in the sport.

One of the most adventurous things I’ve done was taking a solo trip to Colombia without a set plan. Flying alone to a country where I had limited communication skills at the time was daunting, but it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. I learned that people are usually willing to help you if you are genuine, and that every new place on earth has so much to offer. I personally found the terrain, food, and history of Colombia to be my favorite aspects of my trip. The trip gave me confidence in my ability to navigate the world independently and embrace new cultures. If I could visit any country right now, it would be Venezuela, where my girlfriend currently lives. I would love the opportunity to experience her home country through her perspective.

When it comes to personal skills, I have a strong memory for numbers and patterns. This ability has helped me master solving Rubik’s cubes, memorize 50 digits of pi, and learn multiple languages. I’m fluent in English and Japanese, highly proficient in Spanish, and currently learning Korean as my fourth language.

Although I don’t drink alcohol, I always enjoy happy hour for the appetizers—especially wings, onion rings, and flatbreads.

While I don’t associate with any specific causes, I strongly believe in treating everyone with respect and equality. I aspire to contribute to making the world a more positive and inclusive place. If I had to sum up my personal philosophy as a motto, it would be to always seek the positive in every situation. I believe that viewing challenges through a constructive lens not only makes them easier to handle but also allows me to appreciate the journey that has led me to where I am today.
