If you can frequently be found watching the late show and munching something delicious, you know the problem. It's hard to resist late night cravings, but you know how unhealthy they can be.

Avocado on whole wheat toast - This trendy choice provides healthy fatty acids to lower cholesterol and protect the vascular system. Add a tomato and some peppers and enjoy on whole wheat toast.

Spicy or sweet cottage cheese - Enjoy this protein boost that can keep you full longer and help you lose weight. Top your cottage cheese with a spicy salsa or chunks of fruit.

A handful of almonds - These power nuts are full of magnesium. They can help you reduce stress, relax and restore muscles and burn fats. Try half a cup of almonds daily to replace salty snacks, feel full and lose weight.

Chocolate pudding - Treat yourself to a low-fat chocolate pudding that contains 90 to 100 calories. You could top it with a scoop of Greek yogurt and add 17 grams of protein.
