Dr. Berger was born in Toronto, Canada. She traveled to California as a legal resident when she was a young person and then became a Naturalized American Citizen in her early adulthood. She graduated from LACC with her doctorate in chiropractic. As a Chiropractor, Dr. Berger believes that a huge benefit in chiropractic care involves its ability to to focus on patient quality care while utilizing the body’s innate ability to heal itself. Dr. Berger is dedicated to sharing with her patients the natural health benefits from chiropractic and how it can help people in their every day attaining an optimal well-being.
Dr. Berger earned her Bachelor of Art degree in Physical Education and her Master of Art Degree in Administration and Supervision in Curriculum Development within Physical Education from California State University of Long Beach in Long Beach, California. While attending her graduate studies she earned a specialization in Athletic Training and Conditioning. Dr. Berger also attended University of Alberta in Alberta, Canada emphasizing her graduate study in Sports Medicine.
Through her career experience, she has been most satisfied when seeing the gratifying expression in her patients appreciation from the effort and skill in performing their chiropractic adjustment.
In her spare time she enjoys being a wife, mother, and grandparent to her sons' Border Collie and Lab Mix dogs. She also enjoys traveling, going to the movies and eating out in restaurants. When asked of a major achievement in her life, Dr. Berger eagerly acknowledges a major achievement has been in watching her children grow up and be happy while succeeding in their challenges in life. When requested what is a personal motto to live by she acknowledges, “I will serve my patient to the best of my ability......”
Dr. Nick Nam, D.C. was born in Seoul, South Korea. He moved to San Diego when he was 16 years old. Dr. Nick received his bachelor’s degrees in Biological Science from University California, Santa Barbara. After he had graduated from UCSB, he was involved in various volunteer activities. He volunteered at Hand-In-Hand, where he interacted with children who were diagnosed with ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder. Because of his dedication to helping the community, he received the President’s Volunteer Service Award from the former president Obama. Dr. Nick has always wanted to do something that can make positive changes in one’s life with his hands in that he decided to become a chiropractor. He attended Southern California University of Health Sciences and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2018.
Dr. Nick says that the best thing about being a chiropractor is being able to use his hands to help people. He is passionate about making the patients to feel better, live better, and function better.
Dr. Nick has a wife. They got married after 4 years of a long-distance relationship. He likes snowboarding, longboarding, camping and rollerblading.
