Dr. Manion earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2008, where he specialized in holistic, non-invasive approaches to musculoskeletal health. Devin Smalls joined The Joint Chiropractic in January of 2023, and he currently presides at the Town Park location in Orlando. He graduated with a degree in exercise science from the University of West Florida in 2017. After working as a chiropractic assistant for over a year, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2021.

During his time in chiropractic school, he had many different experiences which opened his eyes to the different needs that people may have. He has had the opportunity to work with competitors for 5K events, military veterans who were going through hard times, people recovering from opioid addiction at an in-patient clinic, and people suffering from mental illness at an outpatient clinic.

Dr. Smalls enjoys helping patients to navigate their way back to optimal health. He understands how difficult and lengthy the process of dealing with debilitating back pain can be. In April of 2020 he was struck by a pickup truck while riding his bike. He had to deal with debilitating back pain for about a year and had residual effects from the accident for about 2 years.

In his free time Dr. Smalls enjoys spending time with his wife and dog (a lazy puggle named Nala), and travelling, which stemmed from his upbringing as a military brat. He has visited many different places such as England, Japan, Belgium, and Amsterdam.
