Dr. Allen graduated from Western States Chiropractic College (now known as The University of Western States) in Portland Oregon. He has had life long association with chiropractic from the time he was in high school and was treated by a chiropractor for a football injury. After high school he joined the Oregon Air National Guard as a full time guardsman. He worked there for 8 years before moving to Arizona to work at Boeing in Mesa. However, he decided that his real desire was to become a chiropractor so he and his family moved back to Oregon to complete his degree, only to return to Arizona after graduation.
Dr. Oglesbee received his doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, in 1995. He is an Alumni member of the Alpha chapter, on the Board of Directors the Delta Sigma Chi international chiropractic fraternity Grand Council.
Prior to his chiropractic college training, he served as active duty US Navy for 7 years as a nuclear propulsion plant operator/electrician on the submarines USS George C. Marshall, and USS Pasadena in the 1980’s, at the rank of First Class Petty Officer (E-6).
He also holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of the State of New York, in Albany, New York, and a Masters of Theology degree from the America Bible Institute, Olive Branch Mississippi.
He is an ordained minister. Dr. Oglesbee and his wife Gail, a 30 year veteran ER nurse, have been married for 17 years.
Nicolo Montecalvo is a Chiropractic physician who has been helping people with health issues for 21 years, recognizing modern stress in peoples lives and helping them make adjustments to cope by delivering quality chiropractic and nutritional care has been his strong suit throughout his career. Suffering from chronic pain and failure to thrive through much of his own teenage years through his early thirties and overcoming these challenges Dr Montecalvo has been on a lifelong quest to help people live healthier more productive lives through chiropractic and nutritional care. A former rescue swimmer trained by the US Navy, Dr Montecalvo also holds a degree in chiropractic from Texas chiropractic college where he graduated from in 1998. He also holds a masters degree in advanced clinical practice from national university of health sciences in Lombard Illinois 2013. He is also one of the few certified GAPS practitioners in Idaho. This protocol was taught to him by Natasha Campbell Mcbride, a neurologist from Britan, its a method of treating very sick people with hyperimmunity syndromes and digestive issues. Modern medicine should incorporate all of the disciples to meet this sudden surge in health care demand needed to tackle the toughest health care challenges facing our population today. He is an avid fitness practitioner and enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu as well. He is happy and honored to serve the citizens of Boise and surrounding areas and looks forward to being an integral team member joining The Joint in Boise/Meridian.
