Meet The Doctors
Dr. Charles Bodem, D.C. was born and raised in Downers Grove, Illinois. Dr. Bodem graduated from Benedictine University with a B.S. in Molecular Biology in 1997 and then attended the National University of Health Sciences where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He has been a practicing chiropractor since 2001, and joined The Joint Chiropractic in Chicago, IL in 2015.
During his career, Dr. Bodem has worked in several different clinical settings focusing on the rehabilitation of work related and auto accident injuries. Because of this he has learned to serve a wide range of patients from infants to grandparents with a range of cases, including migraine relief, sciatica pain, neck pain, and lower back pain through the use of manual manipulation. Dr. Bodem also has extensive experience in post surgical rehabilitation, is certified in Acupuncture, and has worked in peer review.
Dr. Bodem’s passion is helping others and educating his patients and community on how to better their lives through natural medicine and manual manipulation.
He lives locally with his wife Linda, and their two children John and Madeline. When he isn’t working at The Joint Chiropractic, Dr. Bodem enjoys Chicago sports, playing frisbee golf, volunteering as a leader of his son's Boy Scout troop, and is an enthusiastic supporter of his kids' baseball and soccer travel teams.
Graduated from NUHS (formerly NCC) Lombard in 1996. Associated briefly before going into private practice on 2/1/1997. I have been providing high quality Chiropractic healthcare for over 27 years.
Prior to Chiropractic I was on a Pre-Med path at Loyola University. While working in the hospital environment I witnessed an enormous amount of aggressive healthcare with unnecessary procedures and prescriptions. I knew there had to be a better way!
I live and love Chiropractic. I adjusted my wife through all three pregnancies and my 3 children are some of my most regular patients. My middle child was born with a significant scoliosis which is completely resolved via Chiropractic. In my down time I like to exercise and spend time with my family.
