Give Yourself the Gift of Self-Care this Season

Though the holidays are a magical time of year, unfortunately stress and the holidays tend to go together. We are constantly giving to others, which is great, but it's important to keep our health and wellness in focus as well. Don't put yourself at the bottom of the list this season; treat yourself to products that will help your self-care and wellness. See below for a handy list of gifts you can give yourself to help to add a sense of calm to your holiday season.

  • Essential oil diffuser - Not only do they make your home smell amazing, it also has health and relaxation benefits. By creating different blends, it can help with restful sleep, be an immunity booster, support respiratory health, deepen concentration, and ease stress.
  • Dry brush - This is a spa trend that is easy to incorporate to treat yourself to at home. Dry brushing exfoliates your dead skin cells, reduces cellulite, unclogs pores, and assists stress relief. This is best to do right before the shower; make it a routine and aid in circulation.
  • Coconut oil - There are so many health uses for coconut oil that it is a staple everyone should have in their cabinet for health and beauty. It is a natural moisturizer to brighten skin all over, help with hair growth, act as a natural teeth whitener, and as a natural detox.
  • Epsom salt - Doing weekly Epsom salt baths is a great stress reliever because it draws out toxins and balances your pH levels. Light a candle, add essential oils and Epsom salts, and soak in the bath for 20 minutes to enjoy time to yourself. I use Dr. Teal's, which comes in different mixtures such as restore and replenish with pink Himalayan salt; relax and relief with eucalyptus and spearmint; and balance and calm with matcha green tea.
  • Portable water bottle - Even when you are running around getting the holiday errands done, it's important to stay hydrated through it all. Portable water bottles are more efficient for the environment and are a constant reminder to keep you drinking water throughout the day.
