The chiropractor who adjusted me is also apparently their marketing specialist. They seemed more focused on upselling me on a plan for a year than to focus on my needs and requests. In the terms and conditions in their sign up process you are REQUIRED to opt in to their marketing emails. I asked to not be contacted for marketing purposes and they didn’t listen. Additionally based off my previous adjustments at other chiropractors this was by far the worst. Additionally they solicit 5 star ratings saying “for every star on every review we will donate $5 to charity” so I guess donate $10 on my behalf.

Dr. Aaron is nothing short of a spinal sorcerer. I walked in compressed like a folding chair at a family reunion and walked out feeling like I’d been factory reset to “confident adult with posture.” Somehow I’m standing taller (physically and emotionally), which feels suspicious, but I’m not asking questions. The facility? Immaculate. Cleaner than your browser history after a moment of panic. And unlike most places where you nod along pretending to understand, they actually explain what’s going on with your body in a way that doesn’t require a medical degree or blind faith. Every step is broken down so clearly you almost forget you showed up in pain. If your back is currently filing complaints against you, do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Aaron. Your spine will thank you, your posture will improve, and you might finally stop making those “getting out of a chair” noises.

The Joint chiropractic clinic is simply amazing. I am 56 yrs old and a 2 yr breast cancer survivor with a brain aneurysm, if anyone is afraid of trying anything it's me. I've been in pain with migraines, right leg, and hip pain, chest pain and neck strain for so long I can't tell you when I didn't hurt. Coming into the Joint Chiropractic clinic I was so scared, my hands were sweaty, and I was scared I was going to make my problems worse, so I told my Dr. Skylar everything. I told him all my surgeries, about the cancer, the 19; radiation treatments, the chemo pills, the migraines, the loss of mobility and how scared I was. He was so sincere and cared! He did a complete evaluation and then he adjusted me, I was nervous... and to hear the cracks was crazy, afterwards I felt better... I would seriously recommend chiropractic care for anyone it's ok to be scared, just be honest they can help you. I'm so glad I did! Dr. Aaron is the other chiropractor there and he is very thorough and amazing also. I highly recommend both of them and I would talk to anyone who was worried about trying. I have now had 5 visits and my sciatica pain is very tolerable and I thank God for Skylar and Aaron!

I’ve never visited a chiropractor before, and since I’ve always kept myself pretty healthy I assumed I never would. But in my drive to be fit at an advanced age, I developed sciatica and suddenly I desperately needed one! My son had recommended The Joint to me, so that’s who I called. And I’m so glad I did! From the fist phone call they were friendly and welcoming. I filled out the initial paperwork on my phone instead of a clipboard, which was nice, and the manager running the counter explained how the visit would go. And then I met Dr. Jay. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a chiropractor, but this young, beaming, enthusiastic man that I met immediately set me at ease! After listening intently to my situation and symptoms, he began to carefully explain what was likely happening, why it was, how he could find out, and how it could be remedied. I’ve never felt that I was in better, safer, or more caring hands. I know that an atmosphere and work ethic like that comes from the top down, so I now have great confidence in The Joint as a whole. The relief I got honestly brought me to tears. It felt like my body was flowing again when it had been stopped up! (I can’t think of any other way to explain it.) The sciatic takes more than one visit to be completely corrected, but the cost per visit is so reasonable that I was sure I misunderstood it. To me, chiropractic care is like vitamins for my joints and bones and nerves. It’s now become part of my health-maintenance routine. I highly recommend it … and I encourage you to start with The Joint!

I was very impressed with the entire experience! Despite being one Dr down due to illness and a tad busy today, the receptionist and the Dr working were both extraordinarily helpful and kind in explaining every step to me as I’m a new customer. I will only come here and I recommend this chiropractic business, this location specifically I went to was purely welcoming and I never get rushed or just a number to get in and out the door. I felt well taken care of and felt a world of difference just from my first adjustment and the Dr was very kind and funny, very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing as he did each adjustment. I felt very safe and taken care of, and very respected. I’ll only be returning to this chiropractic practice. Plus, the prices are unbearable. They don’t take insurance, first visit is only $29! This business actually cares about making their services affordable for people, especially this day and age. Other places are double or triple the price even with insurance helping—The Joint is The Only place I’ll be going from now on. Recommend to anyone who needs help with an injury or even just basic maintenance.

My left shoulder has been really hurting, and I saw this place and decided to call. They got me in as a new patient that day. Went in and had an exam by Dr. Colin Williams and then an adjustment from what he could immediately see and then feel. Amazing! In and out and signed up for 10 more! Highly recommend this franchise chiropractor and especially this location and doctor. They are in a few states and your records follow you. This is my second office I’ve attended for chiropractic adjustments, and I will contest that this location has been everything you could hope for. Not just in terms of quality care and attention to detail, but kindness and compassion that goes a long way. This is a really great chiropractor clinic. I am a young student athlete who plays 4 sports football, basketball, baseball, and wrestling. So I am constantly active and body gets put under loads of stress from cramps, to tightness, and etc. So when I say getting adjusted from this place make my body feel 100x better I mean it. This was the first chiropractor I had been too, and I was very impressed! I love not having to schedule an appt beforehand, and they fit me in very efficiently! The staff was very welcoming, and the Doctor took the time to listen to what was going on, and relayed information back to me in a way I could understand. I'm in my mid 40's. This was my 1st visit to any type of Chiropractic office, ever. Today, I had a good experience. Actually, I'm going back in 2 days. My initial visit was fairly priced. Also, I signed up for the lower tier, visit bundle. 4 visits in a month for $79. Sure, why not. Immediately after the "popping", I felt lighter on my feet. A bit sore about an hour later but that was all covered by Dr. TAYLOR, therefore, expected. Office staff was awesome, doctor was awesome. Overall, Im satisfied. Ready for my journey. Go on, roll up in The Joint Chiropractic! And if that slogan isn't on a tshirt soon, I'll be slightly disappointed. I wear a large, bye the way... Thank you.

Was a pretty good experience. Would be 5 stars but the onboarding process with the link is horrible. I almost walked out. The answer covers the question below and you don't realize, extremely clumsy there for you are redoing the same set of answers over and over and trying to find out what the he'll it wants to continue. The worst part is the doc then reviews and talks to you about.......why don't we just start there and keep the electronics out of equation.You know kinda personal like a doc patient relationship. Outside of that this business model fits my schedule so I will give it a try. Thanks

A couple months ago I had very bad lower back and hip pain and I was seeing a chiropractor in my area with no results. I could barely walk without sharp pains and I felt like everything was seizing up. I came across the Facebook advertisement for The Joint so I thought what could it hurt. I made an appointment but, I was very skeptical. How could they do anything differently than my chiropractor? Well I have been seeing Aaron and I can say I can’t tell I ever had pain. He has adjusted me in a way that made my back react and now I see him for maintenance only appointments. The front staff and Aaron treat me friendly every time I stop in. I can’t say thank you enough for helping me. I hope everyone that is debating on setting up the first appointment sees my post and gives them a try also as they won’t be sorry…

To be very honest I've always been terrified of the thought of going to a chiropractor untill now. Dr. Heath went above and beyond to explain everything in fine detail so I knew exactly what would happen. I went in 8 out of 10 pain, came out with 4 out of 10 pain. 55.00 I wasn't in there 5 minutes and they and they were finished with me .. try to convince me to come back again and put me on some big payment plan didn't do shit for me what a joke save your money and go to a real Chiropractic that's just the numbers game there they don't do shit for you it's pretty pathetic it's like a drive through car wash anybody that can rate this place more than one Stars obviously never been to a legitimate chiropractor I was so disgusted when I left there did they get away with this shit. Trust me it's not about the money I've been to many chiropractors over the years at 63 years old and have always had success I've never seen anything so shoddy in my life so impersonal a real chiropractor going to put you in a room and help you relax maybe put you on a massage table maybe put some electrodes on you or whatever they're called let you sit in the room and chill and relax for about 20 minutes coming and talk to you maybe stretch you a little bit and find out what's going on have you do some movements then spend some time with you actually doing their job instead of kicking you out in the total sum of 5 minutes do you get the point that's not how it's done this is my third time there I got a little bit of help the first two times and I never would have came to this place to begin with if I was roped into it by a friend that had no idea what a real chiropractor was like I was just going there to be nice but they don't give a shit about you they want that dollar every every 5 or 6 minutes and they're hoping make an upside you they work so hard at trying to upsell you every time you walking in the door and walking out the door they spent more time trying to up sell me on packages then actually had me laying on the table and after being there three times and it was a similar visit all three times and I've been to some good chiropractors and some bad chiropractors but this is actually horrible not even on the scale I would rate it -10

Started as a client a few weeks ago. I've been several times since then. I've seen Dr. J and Dr. Heather. Dr. J is gentle and easy to communicate with about needs. Dr. Heather has changed my back. After going through some legal matters they continued to charge a card that was deactivated and blocked for over 5 months . They ended up costing me more than the $79 dollars with overdrafts daily and bypassed the card declining no staff was helpful or really cared that i actually had to pay well over $100 . They push the $29 but do not explain it clearly that act like your supposed to report every detail of personal information to get your account cancelled. They want your money but don’t rectify anything just sorry but it’s automated. Would not recommend signing up for this so called “easy plan” you end up getting screwed in the end with a laugh and a sorry about your bad luck i wouldn’t recommend anyone sign up go to a real place that is more professional and has accountability and will rectify and not just be a money grubber to get sales. It’s a trap !

I was skeptical about going to the joint. But I needed an adjustment and they were the only ones open later on a Saturday and had an opening. For starters, they act like car salesmen. Trying to sell you their “membership plans” offering $10 off your visit so you will sign up for the plan. Red flag Red flag number two was the minimal questions about my health. Red flag number three, was the no X-rays before adjustment. That’s when I shoulda walked out. But unfortunately I didn’t, because I needed adjusting. The adjustments didn’t make me feel good. I got really lightheaded after I sat up. (Ive been to real chiropractors, this has never happened before) He also adjusted my neck. BIG mistake. I’ve never felt like my neck was going to break before until then, a neck shouldn’t move in that direction, It was very scary. Also, it made my jaw hurt really really bad. My back pain went from lower back pain, to upper by the time I walked out. Jaw hurt for hours. NEXT DAY my entire back and neck hurts WORSE than before I even went in the first place. My jaw also, still hurts. On top of that, when I went I could touch the ground with my fingertips. Now, the very next day, I have an extreme stabbing pain in my lower back when my hand even gets near to the ground. This place is extremely sketchy and I definitely don’t recommend it to anyone. They are all about their “memberships” but, what about the people, that you are injuring worse because lack of knowledge and care? I’ve never had worse experiences at a chiropractor, and I’ve been to a few.

My husband has had pain in his shoulder, arm, elbow and neck for several months. We have been seeing a chiropractor for years, but it seems that we came to the max amount of help we were getting. So, we decided to try The Joint. Well, after a couple of visits with Dr. Joe, my husband, for the first time in several months is no longer having the pain, numbness and tingling sensations that he was having. Joe found that he had a rib out on the top of the rib cage and put that back in and then worked his elbow and got the impingement to relax. The pain is at a 2 instead of a 9. Full disclosure: my wife has worked here since they've opened. It took her a year ( the last month of which I was in an orthopedic boot with sore back and hips) to talk me into getting chiropractic care. Walked out the first time with a lot of relief. I'm still trying each of the doctors and I haven't been disappointed yet. I know from many friends who use more of a "tradional" chiropractic office model that they have days where they would like to be seen but scheduling issues create long waits. Overall I'm very pleased with my care here.

I went to this place 1 time over a year ago for pain from a pinched nerve. My pain level when I walked in was about a 6. I was crying through the exam because the pain got significantly worse. He didn't even finish the session because it was too painful for me. I told the clincian I was not likely to be able to commit to weekly appointments because of the distance I have to travel to get to a clinic. I said I wanted 1 session. By the time they had me "checking out" my pain was at a 9 or 10. I wanted a single session. No way was I coming back. I found out today they have been charging the card for a monthly membership for over a year! It is unethical to take advantage of clients in severe pain and not listen to what they say they want. Instead you sign them up for costly, ineffective programs they don't want or need, and then make it extremely difficult by forcing them to drive to the locations to handle any billing issues. This is a ridiculous practice.

I have been going to The Joint for a couple of months and, I must say, I am very happy with the care and concern they continue to show me. I suffer from back and hip pain and they are helping me to live as normal a life as I am able. By continuing to go once (sometimes twice) per week, they keep me aligned to relieve much of the pain I live with 24/7. I have been to several other chiropractors in town with no significant change, and even though I told them where I was in pain, they did generic spine and neck treatments which did nothing to help me. TLDR: Super low pricing, little to no wait time, clean and welcoming environment, and the BEST chiropractic adjustment I've ever experienced. Full Story: I spent this morning searching around (knowing it was a long shot) for someone who could get me in today because I did something (rib subluxation) yesterday that was causing increasing pain to the point I could barely move without hurting. The soonest anyone could get me in was tomorrow, but just for an initial consultation with an additional week before I could be adjusted. The Joint was a tiny bit further out but I called and to my surprise, they are designed with people like me in mind. I was in the office an hour later. In the time it took to fill out my paperwork (which I was warned might take awhile but really wasn't much at all and I probably could have gotten it done sooner if I wasn't such a chatty person) I saw multiple patients walk in, be adjusted, and walk out in less time than I spend in most waiting rooms. Kim at the front desk greeted every single person who entered like an old friend and made me (someone with a lot of social anxiety) feel so comfortable and cared for. The adjustment! When my paperwork was done, Dr. Jay greeted me like the only type of high energy friend I could ever want. Friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and respectful. He explained everything in easy to understand terms and made sure I was okay with his plan. When examining my back, he gave warning and asked for consent almost every time he moved his hands. While I go to the doctor expecting to be poked and prodded, it made me feel very comfortable, confident, and respected. He warned me when something might be a little uncomfortable at first and repeated the term "trust my hands" a few times, which was honestly the best instruction a chiropractor has ever given me as even when I try to "relax" my body tends to push back when someone applies pressure. I was truly relaxed and ready to let my body move with his hands. Now- I've been to chiropractors before and it usually was uncomfortable during or immediately after. While the adjustment directly over my affected area was a little bit uncomfortable at first, it hurt in that "hurt so good" type way. I always got a little bummed in the past when adjustments didn't crack my back or neck. If that's you- this is definitely your dream come true. I was given the full glow stick treatment. Each press on my back and movement of my neck gave the most relieving symphony of snaps and pops. The doctor said I should feel relief in 5-10 minutes, but even coming in holding my head and body as still as possible, I stood up and immediately stretched my shoulders and turned my head comfortably. There is still some soreness in the direct area of the injury but I am already lifting my one year old in the air again. I know it will improve as I continue my treatment plan. The craziest part- I had this visit and set myself up for a monthly charge that will cover my entire repair plan (2 times a week for 3 weeks) plus an additional visit for almost $100 LESS than the initial consult would have cost me with insurance at the other place. Y'all have me for life. Run, do not walk to The Joint for your regular care or even for a one off visit if your normal chiro can't get you in for an injury. You will not regret it.

I love how I don't need an appointment and can stop in at anytime during their business hours for an adjustment. This is the perfect option for me because every place back home could not fit me in for over 2 months and this place was able to see me immediately and until I could get in back home. I have continued services for the past 2 months so much that I wish there was a location closer to my hometown so that when I graduate from college I could keep going here.

Experience was great! The staff is kind upon greeting and timely in getting you seen. Love the flexibility of the hours and also not needing an appointment. I had previously seen Dr Knight at a private practice before she joined the Joint. I love her adjustments so much that I now travel 45 min to be able to continue to see her at the joint. All of my areas of concern are addressed at each appointment and I feel immediate relief from the adjustment! Because of my work, I deal with constant tension headaches and back/shoulder pain so chiropractic care has become a must for keeping my body functioning. Dr knight is very knowledgeable and also can offer tips to help you maintain your care at home. I also prefer her because she does manual adjustments. My 12 year old daughter also loves to see Dr Knight and trusts her adjustments as a young patient that was apprehensive of seeing an chiro. I love being able to stop for a quick visit to get what body needs and feel great & refreshed. 100% recommend.

The next step is seeing Dr. Olivia Knight. I have been to a half dozen Chiropractors in Portage/Kalamazoo and I knew she was the ONE the first time she cracked me! I was seeing another Dr. and just happened to go in on a different day than normal. I told her that I prefer manual manipulations, and she sure did deliver (pretty sure I felt things crack that had never before)! I froze my membership because I could not align my schedule with Dr. Knight's one day per week at the clinic, and was even considering cancelling my membership. BUT I am happy to announce that I renewed it today, now knowing that she is at the clinic at least 3 days per week! **Currently I am working on getting my husband in to see her - I am confident she is capable of adjusting a very muscular, 6'4" guy (who feels like no one can adjust him).

I had a great experience here, would highly recommend! Dr. Claire and Dr. Aaron we're both very friendly and welcoming, they listen well and we're both professional. I deal with chronic upper back and neck pain, from an old injury and they got me right in. They were respectful of my requests (prefer the instrument on the neck), performed a great adjustment and I left without pain. Will definitely be back when I am passing through Kalamazoo.

My experience with The Joint (Kalamazoo) has been wonderful! From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile, the front desk staff was very helpful walking me through how The Joint works and answering all my questions. Dr. Sheridan is wonderful, she listened to my history and walked me through each step of the adjustment. I have felt pain relief in my back, neck, and knees. The wait times have been short during each of my visits but I never feel rushed during my time with the doctor. Highly recommend!
