Spring Does Have to Mean Back Pain

By Tom Herrin

Whenever we begin to think we hear spring calling us, we may be inspired to get out and do more.  It is very natural as blue skies and warmer temperatures can tend to motivate us.  The things that we felt we couldn't tackle suddenly seem attainable.  Without some preparation, our enthusiasm can suddenly turn to back pain.  If you get carried away with determination to do work that you have put off and end up with back pain, a visit to a chiropractor may have you feeling you can conquer the world again.

The Back Takes a Beating

Whenever we do any kind of work, our backs carry a big part of the load.  It stabilizes much of our movement and allows us to move our arms.  It also is designed so that we can bend, twist, and turn.  It also carries many delicate nerves.  The spine is made so that it can protect them as it does all of this.  Whenever we do anything that causes the muscles that support the spine to biome strained and fail, a joint dysfunction may occur in which pressure is placed on a nerve causing pain.  It can be a miserable feeling that robs you of sleep and peace.  Pain medication may only be a temporary fix.

Chiropractors Understand Backs

When you go to a chiropractor with back pain, you will be given an adjustment in which the spine is gently manipulated so that the injured joint is restored to its optimal position.  This can take the pressure off the nerve and relieve the pain..  Since it is all done naturally, no pain medication is used.  There is no risk of addiction or side effects.  Natural healing may be much faster, and a return to normal daily activities may occur sooner.  At times, the chiropractor may suggest some exercises that can help to strengthen the muscles that support the injured joint.

Many Prefer Regular Treatments

Once they experience the relief a chiropractor can provide, many people want more.  At The Joint Chiropractic, they have plans that can fit any budget.  No insurance is required, no appointments are necessary.  They are open days and evenings, weekdays and weekends at all of their more than 600 locations nationwide.  If you get carried away with work and have back pain, drop in at The Joint Chiropractic and feel the difference.
