Before you give up on the thought of breaks, take a look at the affordable, doable, and adaptable suggestions below. Take a Nap

Nap your way to success! Learning how to take a proper nap is a vital skill needed for increased productivity and energy. If you would like to incorporate more power naps into your daily schedule, find a dark and quiet room, set a timer for 20 minutes, and relax! And remember, don't spend all your energy focusing on the minutes that are passing by. Instead, slow your breathing and relax your mind! It won't take long for you to drift into sleep and when you wake up, you'll be feeling better than ever! 

Take a Short Nature Walk

Studies say that taking a short walk through nature simultaneously boosts your ability to concentrate and reduces your stress levels. Walking has been shown to release endorphins which stimulate a relaxed state. Keep in mind that your walk does not have to be a timed marathon, though. It can simply be a moderately-brisk stroll around your neighborhood. Slow down, take in the sights, and enjoy the day. 

Take Yourself Out 

We all love to hang out with family and friends, but sometimes, they can be a bit much, right? So, if that's the case, why don't you just take yourself out for a date? Enjoying your favorite restaurant or going to see a movie by yourself may be exactly what you need. You won't have to come up with mindless chit-chat, you won't feel the pressure to entertain, but more importantly, you won't have anyone asking you to share your popcorn! A quiet night alone really can be good every now and then, can't it?
