He found his true calling for chiropractic when his nephew who had epilepsy as a toddler was able to be treated through chiropractic care. His nephew's quality of life instantly increased, and as a family member that's just such a monumental and important thing to see. He's a firm believer in the ability of chiropractic adjustment to remedy a wide variety of illnesses and disabilities through regular treatment and work in addition to a good healthy lifestyle. There is a big difference between believing something can have good results and experiencing them first hand, this first- hand experience helps him empathize with any clients and gives him the motivation to do his very best work so that others can see good results and feel the same joy that he did.

An injury from a backyard football game caused a great deal of low back pain that the medical community was not able to resolve. Dr. Sheradin eventually sought the care of a Chiropractor on the edge of his home town in upstate NY. The Chiropractor resolved his low back pain and ultimately helped a great deal managing his migraine headaches. At this point Dr. Sheradin was hooked. He attended Keuka College for a Bachelors in Clinical Science and received his Doctor of Chiropractic from NYCC in the summer of 2001.

Dr. Sheradin and his wife Tracy have lived in North Carolina since 2001, originally in Mebane and now in Roxboro. Dr. Sheradin operated his own Chiropractic Clinic in Mebane, NC for almost 18 years.

Dr. Sheradin is a SCUBA diver and a Private pilot. In his spare time Dr. Sheradin and Tracy enjoy diving on warm tropical reefs and exploring the Mid Atlantic States from the air. Dr. Sheradin has designed and built two airplanes.

    PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW SO THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO YOU. I know it’s long but PLEASE read it so YOU can protect yourselves as well. I canceled my account about 2 months prior to my mom passing away from pancreatic cancer in 2025. We knew she was declining quickly and lived in NJ. The kind man at the front desk told he would take care of it for me which I greatly appreciated considering what I was dealing with. He never told me I needed to sign anything, he told me HE would do it. Well they continued to charge me and even somehow managed to access my new bank card because I had to cancel my original card because my husband had fraud and so we both got new cards.Without my authorization they continued to charge me. I called to ask them how they got my new information and why I was still being charged.i spoke with someone on the phone I believe the same man, and he told me it was bizarre that they had my new card info and that once again he would take care of it by removing my card and by filling out another cancelation for me. I regretfully missed these charges because I myself was diagnosed with cervical cancer and was in and out of hospitals. I am still fighting cancer. They have phone recordings of our conversations and even charged me for “extra sessions” when THEY THEMSELVES confirmed I haven’t been in any office in over a year. Mckenzie Misner told me on a recorded call that this was insane I was even charged for an extra session 2 days after my mom died while I was in NJ still crying in the hospital filling out endless paperwork. They also know due to my illnesses I am not medically cleared to be treated by a chiropractor. My bank is kind of enough to refute these charges and give me back my money, but it shouldn’t have come to that. They charged my account $1,626. I unfortunately can’t post the email because I believe that’s illegal but I can tell you they offered me $321dollars back and then 20 “free sessions worth 469. To me they aren’t “free sessions considering this company has been unlawfully taking my money. Don’t let this be you please. Invest your hard earned money into a company that WILL DO RIGHT BY YOU. The staff is great and there are great doctors there but is it worth the risk of costing you almost $2000. There are great doctors everywhere. Don’t make the same mistake I did by trusting that the owners of the Joint and McKenzie would do right by me. The joint is not a trustworthy company to put your money into their hands. There wasn’t an option for 0 stars, but there should be because they don’t deserve even a single star.

    This was my very first visit with Dr. Booker, and I had a fantastic experience. In addition to my usual back pain, I had a new pain in my neck and shoulder area. Dr made several side comments about my medications list on my intake paperwork, which I did not appreciate. Front desk receptionist was very nice and helpful, however I will not return.

    I’ve been seeing Dr Chris for 3 months now. Dr. Chris is a wonderful chiropractor. He is able to diagnose your subluxation and adjust it back into its proper alignment. He’s strong enough to get those POPS on the first go and still so very gentle even when ny back is tender he takes such good care. He is timely and efficient. He has a wonderful doctor-patient bedside manner and takes his time making you feel seen and heard. Sophia is a wonderful Wellness Coordinator. She keeps the clinic spotless, the patients enjoy talking with her, and she makes everyone feel welcome and cared for. You couldn’t ask for a better team!

    I’ve gotten adjusted at multiple locations and Dr. Adrian at the Chapel Hill location was FANTASTIC. I carry a lot of right trap tension and he completely released it this morning.     I love the fact that I was greeted by Lisa the receptionist with a smile and also concerns about my visit she made it so much at ease for me to come in to see the chiropractor who is also very nice and very knowledgeable about my issue with the sciatic nerve giving me pain and also the location is great because is right between my job and home so is very convenient for me to get to my appointments The office is very clean and organized as well ..     I have rode by this place several times and was kind of skeptical. But one day I saw a promotional add on tiktok and said why not. I came in and was treated amazing. The receptionist named lisa is great! They were very thorough with their questions and listened to my concerns and what I wanted to work on. Dr Adrian is who has been seeing me and he is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable in the human body and bones! He's so nice and efficient. And when it comes to pricing I was so shocked! A 1 time visit is $55. No appointments, no insurance, just come as you are. But they have a package that is $80 for the first 2 months and $10 for the 3rd month. And for each month you get 7 visits included! Such a great deal. And man has my body been thanking me! No gimmicks just real people with real results and reasonable prices! Highly recommend! 10/10

    I called on Friday to cancel my subscription because the doctor told me that I didn't need more than one month and he also gave me a sheet where he mentioned the number of sessions that I had to have in four weeks only. Wellness coordinator denied all this and told me that the doctor could never say that, so for her I'm lying. She also told me that to cancel a subscription you have to call 5 days before and that I'm obliged to remain subscribed for at least two months because it's their policy and she can't do otherwise. I tried to re-explain to her what the doctor was talking about and she said: "listen I'm not going back and forth with you" "you can come to this center and if you don't want go to other centers in different locations" if you want to cancel your subscription you will not receive your refund we will email you a cancellation form but you will mail not email mail mail it back to us, are you serious? I explained to her that the reason I'm cancelling is because the only time I feel good is when the session is over, when I came the first time I only came for a discomfort in my neck and now I'm starting to feel real pain that I've never felt before. Your service is really mediocre.

    The Doctor I saw (I’m not good with names) was very thorough, kind, and friendly. She double checked everything and when everything was done she made sure to ask if there were any other problem areas. About half the other Joints just push you in and out as fast as possible.

    The adjustments were fine but the wait is ridiculous, I’ve waited and had to leave, I’ve waited and had people who signed in after me get called back first. They don’t take appointments and the front desk is completely ineffective. UPDATE: after only 3 horrible visits the chiro put me in so much pain I couldn't breathe, they had to help me off the table (I'm a healthy, active, 41 year old). I couldn't move my arm, turn my head, and the "adjustment" made part of my back hurt so badly that I literally couldn't breathe. Instead of managing their "patients" with appropriate care their goal is to sell memberships, not giving sound medical advice. The company/franchise itself feeds off of individuals trust, the belief that doctors will "do no harm" and views patients as consumers. THIS IS NOT WHAT SOMEONE WANTS OR NEEDS FROM A HEALTHCARE PROVIDER. They take zero responsibility in their adjustments and aside from emailing some stretches, (all well known, easily Google-able) only took my money and left me in significantly more pain than I had been in before, in areas that had never hurt or bothered me before. If you're looking for the fast food version of chiropractors- go for it, if you're looking for a competent provider, STAY AWAY!!!

    This is and has been the best chiropractic experience I’ve had since starting in 2015 after a car wreck caused a neck injury. The adjustments are effective, my pain is addressed and alleviated and I have always felt heard, and cared for. I find this style of care very convenient and adorable.

    No coffee here. Coffee though isn't that great for adjustments. If the muscles are loose and relaxed you get better movement of the spine. They had a remodel in 2023. Didn't think they needed one, but better to be forward thinking. You can only access this location via Legion Road or one direction on Fordham (East). The west bound direction has to turn around at Fordham and Ephesus Church road. It is not accessible via Franklin. Lots of lunch options after your adjustment. If you are a regular, wait time is usually 2 minutes to 10 minutes for walk ins. Usually closer to 2 minutes. They do not adjust elbows. They do not do pressure point treatment on muscles. I wish they did. I usually have to have my wife do it and it is through trial and error. I wish they would, but they are more built for speed here. Think fast food for Chiropractor. Regular maintenance plan and you feel really good here. They have bathrooms and drinking water. I do not believe they have Wi-Fi last I checked. I would recommend them for most needs. It is kind of handicap accessible here. You have to walk like 50 feet to get past the curb for wheelchair folk; however, if you have to use a wheelchair you are likely too late on using the Chiropractor. The Chiropractor keeps you out of the wheelchair. I chain my bike to the handrail and it has a nice awning.

    Front desk lady was very nice and helpful but the staff in the back, the gentleman with an accent who didn’t even introduce himself, had no idea that to check someone’s blood pressure you have to do it in private (HIPA) . Not where everyone is waiting and can hear you. And then to say it out loud, your pressure is high I will not adjust you, even worse. If you are going to pretend to know what to do , learn HIPA first. Very disappointed with this place.

    I guess you get what you pay for . Joint chiropractic is affordable. I had two adjustments. The first one was helpful with reduced pain. The first thing Dr. Adrian said when I came back is “I see you have not signed up for the wellness program”. He did not check my range of motion this time. He did my 3 minute adjustment. Then when I said my neck felt tight turning to the right he said. “Well it is not going to be better on two adjustments”. And so it was not any better.

    I just recently started going. I had a great consultation, exam and adjustment. I registered with them after seeing the $29 promo they had. My follow up appointment was great, and the package deal was worth the money, with the additional free visit. You can also use FSA/HSA, which is wonderful for me.     Came in as a new patient to get my first adjustment. Filled out all the paperwork and told I was next to be seen. Then two current patients walked in and they went back and were seen before me. I get my appointment may have taken longer than theirs, but to me that’s horrible customer service. Needless to say, I left without getting adjusted.     I have been a member of The Joint since 2019, and consistently get my adjustments at the Fordham Blvd /Hwy 15-501 office. My primary provider, Dr Adrian Laros, is a skilled and experienced chiropractor. I am 6’7”, and in my ‘60’s with some tight joint tissues. Dr Laros uses different techniques to release sticky or sore joints, especially for a degenerative neck vertebrai. I have also had success with another chiropractor at this office in Dr Laros’absence, but I usually time visits so Dr Laros can work his magic. I highly recommend Dr Laros as a proven chiropractic professional. An additional plus is the office in in a convenient location, with sufficient parking adjacent to the facility. The interior was recently renovated with fresh paint, decor and comfortable chairs. Brittany capably runs the front desk with a positive attitude and warm smile for customers.     I was thrilled to see the Joint in Chapel Hill. I belong the Joint in Davis,CA. My neck and rib had gone out of alignment and I was uncomfortable but am here for my son’s wedding and extremely busy, so thought I was just going to have to live with it. Then on an errand with my son I saw The Joint! They saw me quickly, which was awesome. as my son was rushing through multiple pre-wedding tasks. The female doctor was very nice, but not physically very strong and I was stiff, so she was unable to do the adjustment. Her male Colleague (sorry, I can’t remember anyone’s name) was able to make the adjustment and did a great job. And now I am pain free for the wedding! And I was finished before my son finished his errand!

    I cannot believe that I waited so long to get adjusted. I feel amazing!! One treatment and my chronic shoulder/neck pain and my acid reflux are gone!     I have been visiting The Joint weekly for approximately nine years. Occasionally visiting different sites depending on my work. Primarily I visit Dr. Laros as he is my preferred but I always receive good treatment at each site. The Joint is convienient and the wait is usually never more than 5-10 minutes.     This is a great office. They offer affordable plans, either monthly or in packages, and you can always just show up and be seen either right away or at worst maybe a 5 minute wait.     First time visiting Dr Acosta. He was amazing and very thorough. I thought I went in with no issues and just for a regular quick adjustment. He is focused and immediately I could tell once he started the session my lower back was in need of attention. He back and neck adjustments were by far the best I have received just slightly above Dr Troy in Saginaw which is far for me. I walked out feeling amazing.     I was suffering from a pinched nerve that was causing a lot of pain and limiting mobility. Being new to town I was desperate to find a practice that would take me in on short notice for an adjustment to alleviate the symptoms. The Joint and Dr. Hector were great. Lorraine at the front desk was warm and hospitable. Dr. Hector was very thorough with his questions and diagnostic before starting treatment and once he completed the adjustment I felt immediate relief. Between my initial experience and affordability, I signed up for a wellness package as I will definitely be incorporating this into my wellness regime in hopes of preventing the back pain from becoming a chronic issue.

    Disappointed. I'm a mother of 3, including a newborn. Carrying around a 12 pounder (plus a car seat, at times) and not keeping up with my usual chiropractic care led to my back going out. I was unable to walk the first day, and the 2nd day I was relieved that even though my regular chiro was unavailable until Monday, I could go to The Joint. I chose the closest one to me, still a 40 minute drive. After checking to confirm they were open until 7pm, I planned to be there at 6pm so my husband would be off work and able to watch the baby while I went. I pulled in the parking lot at 6pm exactly and my phone rang. It was The Joint. I was slightly confused but answered. They wanted to set me up for an appointment next week. "Oh, I'm sorry! I thought you were a walk-in clinic". "We are, but we're very busy on the weekend." I noticed no one in the building so I said, "I actually pulled up right before you called. Is there any chance you could take me?" Receptionist replies, "Sure! We're not busy now, and you'll need to fill out paperwork, so come on in." As I walk in, I hear the receptionist saying, "OK, so I'll just tell her we don't take new patients after 6." She turns around and I'm standing there. She says they usually don't take new patients after 6, but they'll try to get me in as long as an existing patient doesn't walk in. I'm relieved. I explain my story as I'm about to be given the paperwork. The chiropractor (who has been sitting in a chair in the back waiting room) suddenly walks to me and asks if my usual chiro is available for me. I tell him no. He says "then this one visit won't help you, anyway." The receptionist pulls back the paperwork and they bid me goodbye. The whole experience was confusing, embarrassing and not to mention painful, as I had to drive 80 minutes round trip. In my (literally) hundreds of visits to chiropractors, I've never been told a visit wouldn't help me, even in the most painful of situations I've been in with my back problems. Besides that, who's to say I wouldn't have paid or signed a contract to come back the next day?

    I've been going 3~4 times a month for 2+ years and seen a lot of the doctors. Dr. Brian Hudak is supremely talented and has a very deep and broad base regarding health issues. The value of the monthly plan is good. My only complaint is on Sundays they should have two doctors since there is always a wait and poor Dr. Hudak often has 5+ people waiting to see him.

    Dr Laros is a great chirproactor! On my first visit, I came in shuffling, since I had thown out my back an hour before on the soccer field. Dr Laros got me walking at that first visit and back to normal in 2 or 3 weeks. He also got me better pretty fast one other time I had a back issue. On the other hand, on my last two visits I walked in pain-free, and the adjustments by two different chiropractors left me with back pain. I felt that neither had the expert technique of Dr. Laros. I will noy be going back, as much as I appreciate Dr. Laros' contributions to my well-being.

    I went in to have someone’s knee looked at and was turned away because they cannot look at someone for just a knee that is in pain. The knee is the largest joint in the human body, the place’s name is the Joint. False advertising is malpractice in my opinion. That’s blatant false advertising.

    My back went out the day before Christmas as we were traveling from West Tennessee to Virginia so I spent the holiday sore (4 days!) since we were away from home. On the drive back, I was still in pain from sitting while traveling Friday (13+ hr trip) and nothing was open in TN until Monday. Even then, I would have to go for a consult, then X-rays and then and only then would I begin a number of treatments. So a walk-in clinic was heaven sent!! My husband found The Joint online- a walk in chiropractic clinic in Chapel Hill, NC-so we drove about 40 miles off our route home to go there. The visit was quick, easy and the adjustment heavenly! I literally hobbled in and walked out pain free. I would recommend Dr. Adrian Laros to anyone locally or traveling thru who need fast expert treatment in a convenient manner.     It had been a while since I had chiropractic care, but they seem to have a good model here -- efficient and affordable. They are very clear about what they provide and how they provide it -- it you want basic adjustments, this is an excellent deal. My intake was fairly thorough for $29, and their packages average out to under $20 an adjustment. I used to pay $60, and the doctor may have only spent 1-2 more minutes with me for a lot more money.

    I like this business idea and the mission to make regular adjustments affordable and quick. I got monthly plan and don't have to worry about price for every visit. In fact i am more motivated to get regular adjustment with such option. Dr. Hudak (only one of the two) who turns out works only on weekends, does pelvis adjustments so that leg length is evened out. I noticed right away that my posture habits are changing after pelvis adjustment. I believe that vertebrae has to be maintained in good health just like toothbrushing and finally The Joint Chiropractic makes is affordable and effortless - even on weekends- and late evenings! Fantastic!

    The Joint takes chiropractic care into the modern era. Walk in service and very affordable monthly plans. Doctors there are great and very through. After the initial visit you can stop in whenever they are open and will be in and out in no time. I used to pay $55 a visit at my old chiropractor, now I pay less than that a month for four visits.     Came here for severe sciatic pain that has lasted longer than a week. After charging my card and telling me that they can fix me told me the very next day, without checking my information or my back or anything told me we can not help you here. Sciatica IS curable. I do not understand, my pain level is a 10+ and the hospital will not help me either. This is very very heart breaking for me. And I am very disappointed.

    I felt a ton of relief after my adjustment. The open office (you get treated in front of everyone else) feels a bit odd and my chiropractor refused to make eye contact with me when he first entered and looked at my intake paperwork. But, otherwise it was great.

    I went to the location in Winston when my problem first started, but have been to the Chapel Hill location since then and I can not recommend this place enough. I came in with my left hip up higher than my right hip, and I was dragging my right foot. I could barely do anything and got winded just trying to walk around the house. I am currently on my fourth straight day of adjustments and my mobility has increased, my pain has decreased, and I am feeling so much better. I have received wonderful, professional service in a clean facility. I can not recommend this place enough based on my own results and the price point as well. It’s a value that is hard to beat. A natural solution to back pains and body aches can be found here!

    I received adjustments here Fall 2017. The trouble with this model is that very-very little screening is done. I had lower back pain-stiffness and the practitioner commented “what have you done” upon feeling my back. Still he proceeded in treatment and even a follow up the day after. I had also just been seen for an eye uveitis at my opticians office later I would learn the two were both symptoms of the same root. The eye redness was connected to the back pain. Turns out it was Sarcoidosis and HLAB-27 gene type causing my back pain. It was not anything that the practitioner was aware of or screened for. Basically, he was manipulating a spine that was inflamed by an inflammatory autoimmune disease. The screening here is not a medical practice. It seems like a scary idea to walk into spinal pain without strong screening. Turns out that not everything has a mechanical root, sometimes you have to go deeper in biology. I learned my lesson not to trust this “health” model which is not equipped to screen for very serious issues or issues that can get serious. Be careful small symptoms can mean deeper problems.

    Fantastic clinic and care! Dr. Steve uses massage-style and stretching techniques to assess the spine and joints while loosening the body for adjustment. He spends more time with me than any other chiropractor I have seen in 15 years of chiropractic care, and I always feel rejuvenated upon leaving. He has helped me tremendously with some occupation and pregnancy-related issues and has helped transition my body into my 3rd trimester.     My mom and I visited yesterday and now we are visiting again today- great experience.The vibe is very relaxed and professional, however, there was only one chiropractor there yesterday so there was a little bit of a wait.

    First visit for my teen daughter and me upon recommendation of a friend. We weren't disappointed! nice bright space, open feel, Katy was very professional, Dr. Steve very competent and spent a good amount of time working on my kinks which were many. We'll certainly be back!

    Yesterday was my first visit and it went super smooth! Nice set up, Dr. Steve was informative and reviewed things with me. Front desk help was nice and professional and I like the concept of not having to have an appointment. Will be going back again today. The biggest plus for me as well is that he brings his dog to work, how can you not like a place that does that?!?!?
