Dr. Cohen saw the transformation of his father and wanted to help patients find relief and to be able to influence a positive lifestyle.

Dr. Rob Boyer started his life in the west, graduating from University of Western Chiropractic College in Portland Oregon and completing his undergraduate degree from University of Colorado. Subsequently, Dr. Boyer has opened multiple chiropractic clinics in the Triangle area, since 1996 to be exact. We are pleased to have him be a part of our group of excellent doctors at The Joint Chiropractic.
Dr. Boyer became a believer of Chiropractic while treating an injury he endured while ski racing. He endured a hip and lower back injury which caused severe pain with sciatica. He tried many different treatment methods, including treatments from medical doctors, physical therapists, massage therapists and stretching. Dr. Boyer then decided to see a Doctor of Chiropractic who assessed his condition and treated him with spinal adjustments. His pain was completely resolved in a short period of time, and that’s all it took! He changed his academic focus and attended Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon after finishing his undergraduate degree.
Dr. Boyer knows firsthand the importance of integrating chiropractic care into his own training and fitness regimen, so he has a special connection with training athletes. He has treated triathletes, cyclists, runners, golfers, swimmers, and football players including members of the UNC football team who later went on to play in the NFL. He embraces the holistic approach in his own life as he enthusiastically treats our patients.
Dr. Boyer currently lives in the Triangle area with his wife, and they have three sons, Coleton, Jackson, and Skye. Athletics is surely in their genes; his son Jackson currently plays football for University of Southern California! Dr. Boyer continues to ski, race bicycles, and incorporate regular exercise and a healthy diet with nutritional supplements into his regular routine.
Growing up I had a condition of the knees called Osgood- Schlatter Disease. It is one of the most common causes of knee pain in children. I was active in sports, but the pain in my knees frustrated me and limited my participation. My parents took me to their medical doctors, but none were able to stop the pain. Then my father took me to a chiropractor. After only a few adjustments, to my back and knees, the pain began to go away. I was both thankful and amazed. I can tell you from my experience both as a patient and a doctor… chiropractic therapy works and it works well!
That was my introduction to chiropractic and I knew then what I wanted to do with my life. After receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from N.C. State University, I went on to earn my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta . I choose to attend Life University because of the strong subluxation-based philosophy. The curriculum at Life University consisted of 2,887 hours of classroom study and 1,598 hours of clinical studies, including kinesiology, toxicology and spinal adjusting. So, while my education sharpened my expertise, my philosophy drives my passion.
In practice, I utilize a wide range of chiropractic techniques, muscular therapies and therapeutic exercise specifically tailored for each patient. This provides an integrated chiropractic approach to conservative care. My practice focuses on the entire family and offers the highest quality of chiropractic care to both children and adults. I find that holistic, conservative care is an extremely effective treatment for a wide variety of conditions. I am an excellent clinician, and a good listener. I hope to have the opportunity to meet you in person and discuss your specific health challenges.
I am blessed to have a lovely wife, Joselyn and three children, Jillian, George Jr. and Vanessa. We live in the Raleigh Triangle area. When I am not spending time with my family, I enjoy listening to jazz, playing the saxophone, and I am an avid football fan.

Dr. Christopher Musso joined the Joint team on May 9, 2018. He is a recent arrival to North Carolina, hailing from Rochester, NY. He arrived in North Carolina on May 1, 2018 with his family, which includes a 1.5-year-old son.
Before becoming a Chiropractor, Dr. Musso studied in a variety of fields such as Education, Linguistics and Science, to name a few. He graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2011. He was a member of Phi Chi Omega Chiropractic Honor’s Society. He previously attended SUNY Brockport and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
Dr. Musso has a passion for different cultures and loves exploring new places. He has lived in India for about 4 months, Korea for about 3 months, and Japan for about 8 years. In fact, it is while he was living in Japan that he found a passion for Chiropractic. A close friend introduced him to a gentleman that practiced a very ancient Japanese form of body manipulation, similar to Chiropractic, and the rest is history! When Dr. Musso returned to the United States, he joined the prestigious New York Chiropractic College in New York State and graduated with honors in 2011.
During his studies, Dr. Musso became intrigued at the vast number of specialized Chiropractic treatment styles. In fact, there are over 100 named styles of Chiropractic methods, each with their own full set of treatment techniques. Dr. Musso has spent a lot of time building up his repertoire of treatment options by learning some of the lesser known Chiropractic styles.
In his spare time, Dr. Musso enjoys trying to keep up with his many hobbies. He loves to ski and tries to hit the slopes whenever he can. He also is trying to make an effort to keep up with his Japanese language skills, and when he has time he is enjoying learning programming.
