I was born and raised on the gulf coast of Florida, and moved to Charlotte, NC in 2006 after graduating from Sherman College of chiropractic the same year, to pursue my career as a chiropractor.

I chose chiropractic as a career while studying pre-med at Western Carolina University, from which I earned a BS in Biology and a minor in business upon graduating cum laude from the Honor’s College in 2003. A nasty fall at a part time job prevented me from functioning, and a chiropractor helped my life get back on track so I could continue my education. Since, I have gained valuable experience at the largest practices in the city, first joining The Joint in 2013 and working for several years, and then rejoining the organization in 2021.

The most important thing that my job as a chiropractor facilitates is my ability to have a positive impact on the health and lives of those I serve daily.

When I am not serving patients, I like to spend my time hiking in the North Carolina mountains, and landscaping in my yard, and watching good movies.

My spouse and I have one dog, a Jack Russell terrier named Jackson. My personal philosophy can be summed up best by a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson, who say, “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”
