Meet The Doctors
Dr. Britt Thornburg, DC is a Hickory native. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and a LIFE member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Britt Attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Biology. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic. Dr. Britt has been practicing in Hickory and the surrounding area since 2015. He decided to join The Joint Chiropractic team in December 2021, after learning they were opening a clinic in Hickory. According to Dr. Britt, “The most rewarding part of being a chiropractor is when he is able to help someone who is trying chiropractic as a last resort”.
Dr. Ahmed Migdadi, D.C. was raised in Oak Creek, WI, a small town south of Milwaukee. As Kid, he was a devoted athlete participating in soccer, basketball, and football. He earned his bachelor’s degree at UWM in biochemistry. As a result of his unrelenting interest in athletics and science of the human body anatomy, he enrolled at National University of Health Sciences, located in Lombard, IL. Throughout his four years at NUHS, he learned sharp approaches to patient care by combining clinical skills and making a treatment plan that fits the particular person's needs. His professional protocols include spinal and extremity manipulation, advanced rehabilitation exercises, nutrition, and kinseo-taping. One of his specialties is dealing with chronic headaches and migraines. He offers unique treatments for infants, children, adults, and elderly patients. “What continues to inspire me, as chiropractic physician” is to improve the public health and outlook on how to best stay healthy. It always seems that we are the last hope for many patients that fear there may not be an answer to the health challenges they face. I enjoy those challenges; it makes you go the distance to provide those solutions for these challenging problems. I have a passion for helping others and helping to improve patients overall health and wellness.
Dr. Guy Karcher was born in St Petersburg Florida and raised in Tampa. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland College of Chiropractic in 1982.
Dr. Guy began working at The Joint July of 2021 with 40 years of experience. When asked what he loved most about what he does He answers, “My favorite things about being a chiropractor are helping people feel well through a natural approach and putting a smile on people's faces”.
Dr. Guy and his wife have 6 wonderful kids. During his free time, they enjoy hiking, scuba diving and skiing together.
Dr. Chad Risoldi completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh and received his doctorate in chiropractic at Logan University August of 2015. He moved to North Carolina in the same year and has been practicing chiropractic ever since. His goal in practice is to maximize the body’s healing potential and to help families reach optimal wellness.
When he is not working to promote health and healing in his patients Dr. Risoldi practices martial arts and spends time with his wife and growing family hiking, biking, and exploring the Carolinas.
