The Most Important List of All

If you are like most people, you have probably written down a list or two at some point in your life. After all, lists are one of the best things we can create when trying to simplify our days. From grocery shopping lists to honey-do lists to what-to-pack lists to daily to-do lists, it's easy to see how much of an impact lists make in our lives, right? But the one list that everyone should use as often as they can, is the list that often gets ignored. Which one is it? Why, it's the list of things we should immediately stop doing! Take a look at this list below.

Stop Toxic Relationships

Spending your time with toxic and negative people will only produce toxic and negative relationships in your life, so take a step back and edit your circle of friends. You want to look for people who will encourage, support, and love you, as well as who will bring plenty of laughter and joy to your days.

Stop Ignoring Your Needs

Are you often the last person on the face of Earth that you take care of? If so, that destructive behavior needs to stop! Sure, you can go ahead and help others, but don't forget to help yourself too in the process. Give your body and mind the attention they need by establishing healthy habits, learning how to relax, and following your passions. You won't believe the difference it can make in your life.

Stop Sitting so Much

Your body was designed to move for a reason, so why are you always sitting? Excessive sitting can lead to poor posture, joint pain, obesity, headaches, and other serious health conditions if you aren't careful so get up and get moving! Try to incorporate at least 30 minutes of exercise into your days and take frequent breaks from your desk and chair. It's important and it's really quite simple to do.

Stop Eating Junk Food

Deep down, you know that certain foods are better than others, don't you? It's important to get at least seven servings of fruits and vegetables each day (morning smoothies are great for this), to choose lean cuts of meat and fish over fried chicken and greasy burgers, and to try to increase your intake of whole grains. Your body will feel better in no time when you follow a healthier diet.

Stop-Doing List

When you want to improve your overall health and wellness, don't just think of the things you need to do, think of those things you should stop doing as well! Because when you give up doing certain things that are detrimental to your well-being, you make more space for the things that are good, and as a result, the quality of your life will be improved.
