They've been helping me stay mobile and able to work despite my injuries. Dr. Dominic Cassetori, and ALL of her fellow chiropractors, are the real deal. Hip stuck in rotation, adjusted. This is a recommendation for Chiropractor Dr. Kesten of Joint Chiropractic in Summerville, SC. I've been treated by Dr. Kesten for a few months for a shoulder issue, initially causing moderate to severe pain. Dr. Kesten thoroughly discussed my problem & treatment options. He did chiropractic care at the office & gave me exercises to do at home along with heating and movement guidelines. Presently, my shoulder has exhibited a world of improvement . I would not recommend this chiropractors. Their adjustment did more damage than good. I had to seek the help of other chiropractors who fixed me. When I went to cancel my membership the front desk lady told me I have to keep paying 2 more months. This is not a good place for your adjustment. They wi make it worse.

I was is so much pain I couldn't walk and it was hard to breathe. I walked out in very very little pain. 2nd day a follow up visit and I'm back to normal. I really can not believe the process in such a short time. Absolutely the very best place I have ever been in my life. And I used to go to the same doctor as the Super Bowl winners from a few years ago go to. I travel for a living and the nation wide pain is very very cheap. Almost the same as a visit to Starbucks and just as fast. Wish I could give 10 stars.

This place is amazing i have been dealing with lower back pain for about a month now. With a sciatic pinched nerve.. The receptionist is amazing super sweet tells you everything you need to know. Gives you all the information you need to know. Doctor David who I saw and he was amazing. This is my first time going to a chiropractor I would definitely recommend it to Back pains or issues. Little aggravated with them. I came in a couple months ago they told me to sign up for this program than allowed like 6 adjustments for 80$( numbers might be a little bit off but you’ll get the point ) a month but you had to pay for 2 months is what they said . I didn’t like it there but wasn’t going to say anything just take the Loss but they charged me for a 3rd month and won’t refund it said shoulda cancelled 2 days before billing even though I only thought I did a 2 month thing for 80$ a month . I’m giving them a 2 star because the people are nice but you have someone new everytime and I didn’t like it because they wouldn’t look into your case you would come in scan your card bring you back and they ask you “ what do you want popped “ like I’m supposed to know what needs to be popped and they do the bare minimum he would pop my hip and call it a day in and out 1 minute not even a full adjustment . Just be careful going into these fast food /chain chiropractors they don’t care about you or your health .

This was definitely an amazing experience. Both my husband and I haven't seen a chiropractor in a while. We both had some issues going on whether it was some pains in certain parts of our joints or stiffness in other areas of our body. Both Dr Vasquez and Dr Kesten went above our expectations. Might I add you don't have to schedule an appt once you become apart of there care. You have different plan options that you can choose from within there practice. It's walkin visits which is AMAZING.. The Flexibility with timing is a BIG PLUS. I will definitely recommend to others.

My first chiropractor adjustment was yesterday and I learned a lot about what was going on with my body. The first visit took a little time (maybe 30 mins) but I had to fill out a forum on the iPad so they would know where to start. 100% worth it. After my first visit I set myself up on the adult plan to get my body back into alignment. My second visit was today and I was checked in, adjusted and out within 10 mins. Will be recommending this place to my friends and family. I never realized how bad of shape my body was in until they started cracking and popping things. The first visit is super cheap and you can decide your plan for yourself if that’s what works for you. I like how they’re more focused on helping people than pushing subscriptions. It’s worth stopping in and giving them a try.

In 2018 I injured my shoulder weightlifting. I have been to Drs and other chiropractors since the injury and no one could sort the issue and I was told surgery was the option. I decided to give it one more shot with a chiropractor and came to The Joint in Summerville. Best. Decision. Ever. I'm pain free and I have near full mobility returned. It was an emotional experience, the first adjustment. For the first time in years I didn't. Have chronic pain. It's uplifted my mood and my body is moving better than it has in years. I recently visited The Joint, a chiropractic clinic, and took advantage of their $29 introductory price for newcomers. The chiropractors were quite nice and took the time to explain what they were doing, which made the experience comfortable and informative. Their pricing is reasonable, with a plan of $75 for four visits, offering good value for ongoing care. Unfortunately, I might have to cancel my membership as I have more serious health issue to deal with. Overall, I found the staff professional and the service effective. I would recommend The Joint to anyone looking for affordable and approachable chiropractic care.

Awful cattle calling chiropractic. Last time I went in I had pain in my neck and the woman up front treated me like a second class citizen. Made me fill out new forms because "I'm not a member and havnt been since last year". Well that wasn't true because the "Doctor" told me I was there last in January. I watched prob 10 people go back in the time I was in pain filling out paperwork. They spend no more than 30 seconds to a minute on you and don't do a full adjustment. Seriously don't know where these great reviews are coming from. The guy focused only on my neck and I had to ask him "can you do the one where you put the fist behind my back?" To where he then says "that's why I always ask" after getting a pretty decent crack. People that go here must not mind getting ripped off or have just never had a legit chiropractic experience before. Granted not all of them are bad, as I've been to others but this one is straight up cattle calling and a scam and they say it's the busiest one in the country or something. Well I'm leaving this here to state my peace and have no interest in any company response. This place will never get my money again and I'm glad I've found a real hometown chiropractor that takes insurance and isn't some sort of gym club scam.

Nice and friendly but DO NOT sign up for their "monthly " plan. They will continue to bill you forever. You can't even just cancel.....its worse than cancelling a Gym membership - you have to actually go into the clinic and fill out a form, or they can "email" you the form. And when you email the form back before your next billing cycle they will simply "miss" the form until you've been billed so you get charged for an extra month. And they will not issue refunds. It's like dealing with a loan shark for a doctor. Do not recommend

I hate to have to write this negative review because overall the staff, doctors, and experience were very good. The problem is that they ripped me off making me pay for an additional month after I moved. I signed up for a monthly plan to get up to 4 adjustments a month. I was leaving the area to a location where The Joint didn’t have a convenient location for me so I went in to cancel before my second month started. I was told that I had to pay for at least 2 months and I would be billed for the second month regardless. $80 down the drain. This was not made clear when I signed up, hidden in the fine print. Furthermore I’m not sure why they would need to lock you in like that, I didn’t get anything for free. I paid for my first visit and then the monthly plan and used my 4 additional visits. There was nothing to make up. I’m not sure how legal that is as early termination fees have been under fire in recent years with mobile and cable plans making them prorate. Regardless, it’s just a bad look. I don’t know why they feel the need to charge a person for no services rendered, it’s a shady practice and it’s greedy. Most straight up companies don’t want to take people’s money they didn’t earn and want happy customers.

I went in for my initial visit/adjustment with Dr.Jenkins and it couldn’t have been better. Everyone was courteous, professional and on time. Suffered with hip and lower back pain for years. Went to my primary care doctor which landed me with a “normal” X-ray and a plethora of meds. I decided to give chiropractic services a try, walked in Sunday morning not expecting much. Myself AND my daughter walked out pain free and in complete shock at how great we felt!!! I’m walking better and just over all feel great. I highly recommend, Dr. Jenkins is the absolute best hands down.

Choosing The Joint was the best decision I could have made for chiropractor care for myself and my family. We absolutely love our ‘regular’ doctors and staff at our local offices, but we absolutely love that if we are out of town and need care, we can find a Joint location close by and go for an adjustment. When you are sleeping on beds that you aren’t used to, having an adjustment really helps. We normally visit the Summerville, SC office, but have also used the Westcott office frequently. We have found offices in Myrtle Beach, SC, Greenville, SC, Evans, GA, and Pigeon Forge, TN while on vacation or out of town for work.

So I didn't have a "bad" experience at "The Joint Chiropractic", I just feel that I am not getting a complete and thorough adjustment at each of my visits. I am a long time patient of chiropractic services (over 20 years) and I am used to being adjusted fully and completely from head to toe. My normal adjustment would take a solid 10 to 15 minutes sometimes longer, depending on what all needed to be performed. At the Joint, I don't feel the Dr's are fully knowledgeable in all aspects of real chiropractic manipulation. at least the Dr I am seeing at this time. I have been twice and saw the same Dr.. I signed up for the flex plan and I am held to 6 months of payments if I use it or not. Most people will find this practice satisfactory, but after the Dr I was previously seeing at a private practice had to retire, I feel that modern chiropractic manipulation has become just like everything else, get em in and get em out, make that money as quickly as possible and dont worry about the quality of care provided. This is my opinion, and I was asked by the owner by text message to please submit a survey. Have a great day.

So went to Southeastern Spine and have a collapsed disc and a bulged disc in my lower back and another collapsed in my neck, just got the epidural shot last week and I am hopeful but still uncomfortable. Came in for my first visit with Dr. Savnik and neck is doing much better before I left and also have some relief in my back. Dr. Savnik took the time to explain everything and review my X-rays and MRI and answer all of my questions. I signed up for the membership and so far this one adjustment was better than any pain pills and the epidural!

Amazing experience! My husband and I came today as new patients. I liked the knowledgable and friendly staff! I am pretty sore but expected that. I plan to be back soon! Edit: I canceled my membership. I was in so much pain for days after each adjustment. I went 4 times and each time was the same. When I stated to the chiropractor how much pain I was experiencing, I was told to ice it and that the soreness is part of the process. I have a very high threshold of pain and this was awful. I had hold my neck when looking side to side. They were friendly about canceling and I do appreciate the customer service. The joint is a great concept but just not for me.

This is an excellent place to get a quick adjustment. They are not as thorough as a regular chiropractor would be...but they will help you with whatever you ask them to, and they are way cheaper. I go every week. The doctors are all different, but they let you know the schedule online so you can get the one you like.

Im in pain so I decided to go to the closese chiropractor near my home, to be told I can't be seen because I use another chiropractor so I had to go all the way to moncks corner to use the chiropractor that I used before I just dont understand maybe its just me. Response: I am not a Joint patient but I was trying to become one but again the woman at the front desk refused to take my info because I said my chiropractor charges me $40 a visit I guess she thought I was on some kind of payment plan with them I dont know but she told me that she can't put me in the system it will show that im using another chiropractor. I will just find someone else in the area.

My goodness, thank God for The Joint! When I walked in on Saturday I couldn’t even sit in the chair my hips were so out of wack. It took like fifteen minutes to see the chiropractor. I cannot express the amount of joy it is to walk in and out of this facility in less than 15 minutes; and I’m not saying they do not take the time with me. They absolutely answer all of my questions and concerns. I also had a question for the front desk. I will be traveling for the next several months with business and needed to know where I can go to continue my visits. I have a very physically demanding job so it is essential I am able to go in where I will be. They have convenient locations all around South Carolina. If you are thinking of going, do it. Always fast and friendly. Once, they have gotten all of your pertinent information. You can roll into any “Joint”. This location in Summerville has been life saver for me. Doc’s are always looking to keep you as the priority. Young lady that runs the front of the house is not pushy about continuing services. She always advises me when I need to buy a bundle. Today was my first visit to a Joint location. I woke up in horrible pain that made it almost impossible to walk. I have had issues with my si joint before and have thought about checking this office out and today pushed me to do it. I am SO glad that I did! I have always had a good experience here. At first you gotta try each doctor at least once to see who your best fit is. If it's not to busy and the doctor you like most is there you can request to see them. ? it's always clean, friendly, and personal. Today we saw a new doctor and he was great, he checked our past history before begining and listened to my recent medical changes. I am a licensed massage therapist and when my clients need a cash only chiropractor I suggest the joint and if they want good trusted ones i know about personally I suggest THIS location ANY AND ALL doctors or a specific one to their needs. and or mount pleasants the joint location BUT ONLY specifically Dr. Cooper or Dr. Murray.

Cassetori and Smith are my go to adjusters. Smith takes the time to really relax you before the adjustments while making great talk about all kinds of topics. Cassetori is super accurate and quick. I have never been to a chiropractor before. I am a 51 year old disabled veteran. My problems have been getting worse over the years. I went to the Summerville location. This process was easy. Paperwork then a short conversation then pop bank boom. His explanation of what he was doing let me relax and afterwards a short to the point explanation of how he can help in the future. I went to the summerville. SC location. Everyone was very friendly, inviting, and informative. I did not feel rushed at all. They took the time to explain all paperwork and what would be happening. My partner and I were referred here by a friend and they did not disappoint! The staff is friendly and informative from the front desk to the chiropractor. The minute I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. My partner has been going for about a month for his back and it's night and day for him. I went in today with a neck so sore, I was able to turn my head, and had pain radiating down my left arm. The Dr explained to me why that happens, how we can go about fixing everything, and put together a plan for me for regular care. I still have work to be done, but after just once adjustment I can already feel the difference. I'll definitely be referring everyone I know here!

Dr Jenkins was amazing! He was very up front and informative. After being in a recent car accident and having significant back injuries, I was of course very nervous seeking certain treatments. Went with the membership for about as much as my phone bill. The value is out of this world. It is affordable even with weekly visits. The chiropractors are skilled and establish the best treatment plan for each client. It is a clean facility and waiting for service is almost nonexistent. I have not spent more than 15 minutes a visit in months of coming. Recommend to everyone.

Was completely disappointed in the lack of cleanliness after each patient was seen. Only thing they are doing is limiting the amount of patients (people total in building) Nobody had mask on and they are considered a health type of Industry, no screening either. Will not be returning. Anyone that is high risk, I would not recommend going until they tighten up. More worried about getting you to sign up instead of keeping things clean and disinfected and Covid compliant.

Our 7 year old has been complaining that her neck hurts for a few months now. It has gotten worse over the past week. We took her to Joint Chiropractic today, and she saw Dr. Smith. He was wonderful. Listen.. I woke up 1 Friday morning as always. I did the regular morning strech in bed. All of a sudden Ouch, I was stuck!? In pain and unable to stand straight up at all, I found myself on the floor. I was able to reach the phone to find anyone that could help. I called everywhere. Most chiropractic offices had a full schedule and werent accepting any walk-ins. Finally at 445pm we were able to find The Joint. I hobbled in the door. I was halfway to the counter and the receptionist stood up and insisted for me to have a sit and she would come to me. I was offered a cold bottled water as I waited in thought if my back would ever be the same. Pondering the horrible thoughts of not being able to work and provide for my family. This could not be the rest of my life.. "Stuck"!! I heard name announced from the back. I looked up to see Doctor Cassetori rushing towards me to help me out the chair. After a really quick chat she had a plan that sounded great. I was just worried about the pain and if my back would straighten back out. With the trenderest manner ever, Doc C did her best to help with the pain of the adjustment. So now here we are 6 months later. Im back to my old self. Simply put... The Joint is only place to go if your back has an issue. Doc C, you and your team has been a blessing to me and to my family. Thanks!!

I am so glad that I was referred to Dr White at The Joint. Even after my first adjustment I experienced a noticeable decrease in pain and discomfort in my back. He was very thorough as well as informative. He educated me on what needs to be fixed, how we’re going to fix it and how to prevent in from getting this bad again. This place feels the drs are just there for money and ego. I have been just twice and in worse pain then I go in with. These people will have you sign up for the 2 month contract, and then continue charging your account. Doesn’t matter if you haven’t been in months ( I’ve been 2 times in 2 months) $39 is for one adjustment but monthly they charge $59 monthly . So instead of paying close to $80 for two adjustments I’m paying $177. The staff is very difficult to work with and only care about money. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this business. Stay far away.

I most recently went to another Summerville branch of the Joint today and was helped by a very enthusiastic young lady who did a marvelous job of fixing my neck. She was very quick and efficient. By the time I had arrived, my neck was so crammed up from over stressing at work that I wasn't sure I could move it much longer. Even though I showed up 15 min before closing they got me in and helped relieve my pain. They have wonderful staff, always so kind and caring the front desk receptionist always greets you with a smile and tells me all about the great package deals. My pain has also gone from a constant ache to gone.

I understand I need to go to a chiropractor on the regular but— I came today and felt the service was extremely rushed even though it was not busy. I came before (for the same symptoms ) and the male practitioner working was wonderful. He told me when I needed to relax, warned me etc. Today the woman practitioner working did not warn me. I was totally tense when she first pushed down because I was not expecting it just yet and I have been in more pain since. I have been icing it on an off, taking ibuprofen and taking it easy. I can’t even lay down, laugh or breath in without wanting to cry. Went in with pain, Came out with even more intense pain. I won’t be able to sleep tonight which will effect me at my job tomorrow.

The general layout is nice but the woman at the desk was completely rude. First time customer and she didn’t explain anything to me off hand, she was chatting it up with another and asked what I needed and I said I need to get in to be seen and told me to have a seat, I was willing to be patient and hopefully figure out if I could be seen. She saw many people before me and I finally came back to the counter and she asks what she could help me with, I told her that I was confused why many people were even adknowledged before I was( did I have to remind her I was sitting in the chair waiting?)I’m not special by all means but they say you need to fill out paperwork and the other couple in front of me got there paperwork and were greated upon arrival, and I didn’t get a smile or friendly gesture? I asked her to walk me through the process and etc. I was willing to pay the 29 for today to get everything checked out due to being in extreme discomforte. Then proceeds to tell me it’s an hour wait as I already waited like 20 minutes before she even adknowledged me. That’s what you get with a place that’s not an appt basis. You actually get quality care when scheduling an appt for an actual chiropractic office. You get the service and customer care you deserve. Gave the joint a try and couldn’t even get past the front desk:/ sucks...

Today I walked in to this office with a headache, neck pain , shoulder pain and upper back pain which is common for me but my Motrin 800 and Gabapentin were not working . I work 40 plus hours a week as a nurse and have all of the usual household and Motherly duties to maintain. I was greeted kindly, all questions were answered at the front desk, I was promptly taken back and the Dr took the time to ask questions and evaluate me prior to my adjustments. The adjustments were perfect and very effective. Today I walked out feeling 100% better. ?????Thank you all for giving me some much needed pain relief. See you again next week!

I was a first-time patient and it took a little while to get in and be seen but that is to be expected and my experience was awesome I can't remember my doctor's name but he was a younger gentleman with a beard very friendly very professional and he did an amazing job on my back I feel a hundred percent better than I did when I walked in there. It's very affordable which is what I need beings I don't have insurance I would definitely recommend the joint to anyone having severe back pain or even just minor back pain. My back pain was making me feel physically sick I have no energy I just wanted to sleep all day. This adjustment helped me tremendously! Thank Y'all!!

I am having issues with my sciatic nerve and there has been little improvement after 4 consecutive visits. I'm doing more for it with ice at home. I have degenerative disc disease and used to get really bad tension headaches 3-4 times a week. These are headaches that lasted all day, if not several days at a time. Since going to The Joint, I seem to get a headache about once a week - right when its time for me to be seen again. This is my second month going & my husband and I are on the monthly plan to go 4 times a month. I just went today and as of this week I haven't had a headache in 2 weeks! I love the team of Doctors & friendly staff and cannot say enough great things about The Joint!

I would suggest if you have a family emergency and are not close to a joint put your membership on hold to safe your money. We were not told this when we had to leave town because of a death in the family. They will not honor our payment we were told we were just out of luck so know you can do membership hold.

First time being adjusted and helped tremendously, BUT I almost could not leave because the front desk was pushing their monthly plan so hard and trying to discourage me from coming back if I decided not to sign up at that time. I have a hectic schedule and don't know when I can come in and don't want to pay for something I may not use enough. I'd rather go to someone else who doesn't mind that.

I did not receive an adjustment here. I came in for a walk-in appointment on my lunch break and was told that I had to have x-rays before getting an adjustment. First of all, I do not want to be randomly blasted with radiation to make them feel more comfortable. I am comfortable with eastern medicine and just wanted a simple adjustment. They insisted that they were more comfortable with the x-ray and wanted to send me down to Trident Radiology because they did not have equipment on site. If I had wanted to drop a few hundred bucks for the privilege of radiation exposure I would have went to see a regular doctor whom I'm sure would have just tried to give me drugs for my headache. I never had to have x-rays in Japan or California. They worked by touch. I think it's just a scam to get you to spend more money. I was not impressed.

I LOVE getting my weekly adjustments. Dr. Cassetori is great and the customer service is wonderful. Very laid-back atmosphere. I starting getting adjusted for migraines and mid-back pain. After a few months, my migraines are significantly less frequent and my back pain is almost non-existent. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cassetori and her staff. They are just wonderful! :D

For years I avoided getting an adjustment because I didn't understand chiropractic care or liked the previous doctors... then when I threw out my back and could barely get back to my basic activities, I happened upon a Groupon for The Joint in Summerville and met Dr. Cassetori and thought I'd try it just once. After explaining it all to me, and talking to me during every step of my first adjustment, I knew Dr. Cassetori really cared about what she did and her patients. My back was immediately improved and kept on getting better with each weekly visit. WOW! I cannot imagine how I would have been able to get back to normal without Dr. Cassetori and her staff. I look forward to visiting with them weekly and have even recommended more of my friends to her practice.

Wow, just wow! My wife and I have been going to The Joint every weekend for just over a year now for regular maintenance and it has now become a tradition in our household! Dr. Cassetori, Dr. Henderson and the Summerville staff have always been hospitable and attentive during our visits. As have Dr. Board and the Westcott team, when we are in the Dorchester Rd area. A very relaxing and "family/friends" type atmosphere, both teams truly care about our well being, and have always adjusted accordingly to ensure a pleasant experience for us! My sister and brother-in-law are also patrons, as are a number of our friends. After every adjustment, my wife and I always look forward to our outings and with how much better you will feel, you will too!

I'm so glad my friends recommended this place to me. It is a weekly ritual. I find it very easy to relax during the adjustment as Dr. Mapes always seems to find just the correct amount of pressure. She was very understanding of my concerns following a herniated disc injury and has been very helpful in my rehab process. I've been to other chiropractors, but none have been as thoughtful, understanding and affordable as The Joint!

Whatever you do, DO NOT SIGN ANY PAPERWORK! This company is running a scam, don't be fooled. If you need service, just pay per visit. I canceled 5 months ago and they've been deducting $59 from my bank every month since. They show that on record and that I haven't logged any visits, yet they refuse to refund me. Now I'm having to fight them through my bank to get my $236 back.

The place is always super clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the care is superb. Dr. Dominique's care throughout my pregnancy has significantly reduced and almost eliminated pain, swelling, and discomfort. I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes to get adjusted and I'm in and out within minutes.

i went to this location due to my tendinitis last August 2015. i paid 60 bucks good for 4sessions but i wasnt able to finish the four visits due to hectic schedule. But to my surprise/frustration, i saw my bank account statement first week of November only to find out that i was charged for 2months September and October for a service/adjustment that i didn't receive! I wish they can call their clients to check on them before taking their money because $120 is not a joke for me just to pay for nothing! very disappointed.
