I would encourage people to choose other care for chiropractic for two reasons . It’s an in and out shop where cracks are success instead of personalized care and treatments for recovery overall from most Dr.’s . I did get that from Colby. Secondly, they push the “best deal” which is a three month commitment for a set price for 4 visits per month. It does require cancellation. On my last visit I advised I was moving out of town and would not be back. I was not told I needed to complete a form at that time to cancel. I called after my card was charged to learn I needed to complete the form two days prior to my card charges. I tried to work with the Amarillo office to resolve who “called the main office “ to be told the charges stand.

I scheduled an appt online at 1130. I arrived at 1105 and was told it would be 2 hours before I was seen due to new patients being in front of me. I cancelled due to a prior time commitment. After I left, the front receptionist called me 20 minutes later and worked me in. The clinic was very busy, the receptionist was never not busy. She was very patient, and returned every missed call in her downtime. She multi tasked with grace and had wonderful customer service! I didn’t get her name, but GREAT JOB! This place has been great. I have back problems and other issues and it has helped so much. I have seen all of the Drs in the office at least once or twice and have no issues going to anyone of them. They are all different but they do great work. They are so accommodating as I am now pregnant. They have really been able to help the whole family range in ages. They are also great with needing to pause services for a time period or needing to add extra time. One day I really needed to be seen I was hurting really bad. I had my 2 small children with me and the wait did take time. They changed the TV and even gave my girls little balls to play with to help them not be so bored. This place is great and we will continue to keep going back.

Although I left a voice mail saying if they don't take insurance i would like to cancel my appointment if they would call and verify before appointment, I did get a call back from the lady at the desk a few minutes later, confirming that YES they did take insurance if i would like to keep appointment i said yes, 10 minutes prior to appointment i received a text saying NO we don't take insurance did you want to cancel. I thought from that minute, Although doctor was great, for her to give misinformation is a turn away to patients. That's why I gave 2 stars, not the doctors fault, they need a new receptionist.

This review is actually aimed at corporate. The chiropractors are awesome and do an amazing job. But corporate took away their percussion guns. That is the only thing that helps my back. It will not pop from pressure. If I don't get the percussion gun, my visit and my money have been wasted. Corporate! Do what's right! Let us have the percussion gun. Let us have what works. I have come to the conclusion that putting my membership on hold until you bring back the percussion gun is my only option.

Going to give an honest review of my experience so far. The first two weeks I didn't feel much of a difference, and was starting to wonder if I believed in the chiropractor thing. Worked hand and hand with Freeze and Hasty, to get rid of some pain that was making it hard to put weight on my left leg. Today Hasty said he wanted to try something new. My leg is feeling way better now, and I can't wait to go back. Was starting to believe I might not get back to normal. 10/10 would recommend. They may not find it on day 1, but they will find it and work it out eventually.

Dr Koehler is spectacular. I originally found “The Joint” when my previous chiropractor was closed. I was instantly impressed by the professionalism and commitment to just help their customers. Now, after a handful of visits I’m on the structured preventative care plan and have already noticed a tangible and real improvement in pain relief, posture, and generally feeling better. Dr Koehler has provided some excellent advice concerning stretches and exercises to help specific issues, and has even offered solutions for some recent headaches I was experiencing. I have really bad migraines and it was a 8 going in and I left a 5. And I have a bad leg due to a groin rip & he is really concerned about it. What’s the point of being opened on the weekends if you aren’t adequately staffed? The Drs could’ve at least taken 5 minutes to learn how to take paperwork if they aren’t going to have the staff needed to do it. Seems like poor management, especially considering most of your weekend patients are coming to you because they’re in immense pain. Just to be turned away over paperwork… leaves a poor taste. Came in to get adjusted, been a year so I was required to fill out paper work before getting adjusted. No big deal, happy to fill it out and finally get some relief and help for my pain. Plot twist, they have no available staff working the front desk so they were unable to accept the paper work but was suggested I take it home with me and essentially told to "try again tomorrow". Been in horrible pain over the weekend and came to finally get some relief only to be leaving with more stress than what I arrived with. Hats off to The Joint. Within the time frame of typing this review I've watched a half a dozen people walk in with the hopes of finding relief only to leave with a look of shock and disappointment. Will not be back ever.

Today I got my life back!!! I can’t say enough about this place or the doctors! $29 visit for the first visit! It’s even cheaper after this ! I couldn’t hardly walk and I didn’t have the luxury of taking time off. This was my last ditch effort and thank God I did it. I wish I had chosen to do this sooner, but we never listen to our husbands when we should lol! They introduced me to every doctor and made me feel like I mattered! More importantly, no x-rays which I absolutely love and they didn’t use any single method, They used all of them. I went in for one problem And she decided to do a full adjustment on me. I am so thankful I didn’t know my neck was hurting.!!! I didn’t think they could do this much on the first appointment! I had the female doctor and I absolutely loved her. She did not do anything without asking permission first and letting me know what was going on. I don’t know if all of them are this way, but I can only speak on her! Let me start by saying I was previously a power lifter/bodybuilder and currently a personal trainer so I take spinal health very seriously. That being said Dr.Rodríguez is WONDERFUL always in great spirits and lighting up the room with her kindness ! I worked with her personally before she finished her doctorate and she truly cares about the people. Also her neck adjustments prevented some serious posture problems that I was having from excessive phone usage. Dr.Hatfield personally cared for me through many of my injuries during my lifts and I must say he has the “magic touch” when it comes to back adjustments! You will not go wrong choosing this location. They have the two best chiropractors I have ever experienced coming from an elite lifter you can take my word for it! I started coming here in April after a lower back injury. I thought I would just go for a couple months until it healed and then stop, but it’s now November and I’ve still been going. I’ve had some thorough, experienced doctors, but I’ve also had some that are have questionable knowledge and confidence. They got Doc.P on the phone so I could get some advice and I was so pleased on what he was telling me. This place is an absolute joke... first off they don't actually fix your spine issues ( I've been trying for over a year with these people and your treated more like a number than a patient). I'd recommend seeing a Gonstead chiropractor, even if you have to drive because they can actually fix you, and second they're cancellation/freeze policy is incredibly difficult to handle, and even after you put a stop payment, they continue to say you have to pay before they will cancel. Avoid at all costs. (I will say this, The doctors are generally nice they just couldn't fix my issues or anybody else i know. With that being said, a Gonstead chiropractor was able to fix my issues within 2 visits.)

I absolutely love coming to The Joint to get my adjustments. Dr. Hatfield is amazing at what he does. Makes me feel like a brand new person everytime I come in to see him. He makes me feel very comfortable where I am able to relax so he can do what he needs to do. He is very informative about everything he does and always gives me suggestions on things I can possibly do to help my body work better for me. And he asks me alot of questions so he can know how he needs to go about my adjustments. Since he has started my adjustments I haven't had a single migraine and I can already feel the difference it is making in my hips and for my flexibility. The first day I saw him my hips were so twisted up my feet were over an inch difference in length and I could barely bend down to my knees and by the time I walked out of there my feet were even and even better I could actually touch the floor when I bent down. It was absolutely amazing the difference I felt. I highly recommend Dr. Hatfield!! He will change ur entire life in a matter of minutes and that is something u just can't put a price on!! The service, when it’s open, is great. If I had a dime for every time I’ve shown up for an adjustment and had to read a printed piece of paper advising me that the times they used to be open had now changed, I would have a lot more dimes. It’s a great place, however this particular branch in Amarillo can’t seem to get a set schedule going. Their schedule is the only real difference between them and other chiropractors. If they can’t get their schedule figured out, why would anyone choose them over someone else? Update- Just tried again, on a Tuesday. When I posted this first review their schedule said they were open until 7pm on weekdays and closed on weekends (which was a change from not long before that). Today they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and now open on weekends again. I’ve used The Joint all over the state of Texas since around 2015 and never had such a ridiculous experience. I’m done with this Amarillo location. If I have to pay higher prices for a guarantee that someone will 100 percent be there when I show up, I will 100 percent pay higher prices. Absolutely unacceptable l.

This reviews is only about customer service because we did not see a provider. I called at 515pm to make my son an appointment and was informed that this facility does not take appointments, they are walk in only. I was informed they would be taking walk in new patients until 6pm. Great, kiddo (who is in pain) let’s get up there asap. We live outside of town so we drove 30 minutes, walked in the door at 545 and were informed that one of the chiropractors was leaving early and they would not be taking any more patients. By literally the exact same person who had told me to to be there before 6. No apology, no how can we make this right. So I guess walk in clinics don’t have to rely on repeat patients. I will be making him an appointment on Monday with a real chiropractic clinic.

Went in a couple months ago after injuring my back and the staff was very knowledgeable and put me on an adjustment program that not only fixed the injury but relieved pain I had for years. Brought in my fiancé who has chronic neck pain and after a few adjustments she was shocked with how good she was feeling. Follow up visits are fast and even when they are short staffed I’m never there for more then 10 minutes. All the doctors keep a great record of your progress so no matter which one is adjusting you on a particular day, they have the notes to make sure you’re adjusted properly. Highly recommend

Would not recommend. I went in looking to get an adjustment to relieve pain from a pinched nerve. As I was explaining what I needed and that I had the same issue in the past I was told that they would refer me to another provider who wouldn't be available for days, but they weren't interested in seeing me. I asked for a basic alignment in hopes of getting some level of relief and I was told that I should go to an urgent care and get pain medication. I don't want or particularly like pain meds, this chiropractor didn't care. Apparently pain relief isn't a priority, just membership fees and easy in and out customers. Such a disappointment.

I used to go there and recommend everyone but then a person I recommended told me they told them “to go seek elsewhere”. They would not take a person who was NOT completely fluent in English - even with a translator. Rude and unwilling to work with the individual. This person understands and speaks the language they just like to have a translator to make sure nothing is missed interpreted. Sad to say I will not go back or recommend any one else.

I am extremely impressed. Their system is very unique and the services very very affordable! The staff are very friendly and the chiropractors really know their stuff. I have been going to The Joint for a few years now and my body is getting back to where it's supposed to be and they have given me a lot of tips to help me to help my aging body to help my joints and muscles to get stronger. I have a few old injuries so it has taken a little longer for my body to adhere to the treatment however they do work and I can move a little better than I was able to 3 years ago. Thank you to the joint chiropractic doctors and staff for being so wonderful and knowledgeable I totally recommend for everybody to go see.

I was definitely apprehensive about going to the chiropractor after being the generation with pills shoved down our throats, any type of alternative type of healing was alway low on my radar. I forfeited the rest of my appointments it just wasn't worth my time. I was referred to New Life Chiropractic and the difference between the two is day and night...best Chiropractic care yet...they take their time and makes sure your taken care of...all adjustments are like a 4 step process...they take their time so your appointments will take longer...longer than 5..7 minutes.

Told me that they could not see me for a pinched sciatic nerve because I was in pain. How ignorant is that!!!!!! 90% of people who use a chiropractor are in PAIN. I have one I go to but couldn't get an appointment for two weeks. I called at lunch to The Joint Chiropractic and they told me that they could see me. It was a totally different story when I arrived. I I think it was because I didn't need a "Wellness plan" which is an extra $65, since I have a regular chiropractor I see. I would not suggest this TRAP to anyone. Very unprofessional. In it for the money and could care less about the wellbeing of a potential client.

I feel so much better. I went in on a Friday with pain level 8 & after 4 visits in 6 days changed my pain level to a 2. I would go to a chiropractor once a month or so. I was refused an adjustment today and I am thoroughly disappointed. I am a frontline healthcare worker. I work at the hospital and at an outpatient clinic, and having 2 jobs that require moving patients takes a toll on my body. I have been exposed to covid positive patients WHILE IN FULL PPE (mandatory n95 mask with an ear loop mask over it, gloves, protective eye wear and disposable protective gown) while at work. I AM MORE PROTECTED THAN THE GENERAL PUBLIC BY FAR!! With every exposure I have been in contact with the health department and I HAVE NEVER BEEN QUARANTINED OR TAKEN OFF OF WORK! I am told by the health department that I am at low risk because of the PPE I have had on and the precautions I have personally taken. Since I answered their screening questions honestly and admitted to having been exposed recently, I was denied care today, BUT I GOT ADJUSTED 4 DAYS AGO after answering the screening questions the EXACT SAME WAY!! I was then told that they are offering 2 free visits to all healthcare and frontline workers. My question is does this only apply to the healthcare workers that are not being exposed during this pandemic? So the people who are not actually ON THE FRONT LINES are the ones receiving care!!! I understand the apprehension and caution, I really do. But WHY is it justified at a DOCTORS office, to refuse care to someone in need? That is so beyond disappointing for me. Up until today, I reccomend The Joint to friends and patients because of their hours and how convenient it was to get adjusted frequently. I WILL NO LONGER DO THAT. I was also told that I would be contacted by a manager and that never happened either.

Not a very good experience. The adjustments are so, so. One of the chiropractors was not friendly, and one is great. They give free adjustment coupons when you sign up if you give them a Google review. The membership is basically like a gym. You get a keychain you scan to check in the go back and get adjusted. The ease of checking in and how fast you go back are great. But like I said one of them is less than friendly. I will be canceling .
