“Chiropractic encompasses everything I love about healthcare,” he says. “I get to make real changes in my patients’ lives without having to rely on medications.”

Dr. Justin was born and raised in Southern Oklahoma and enjoys working on and building classic cars and motorcycles, which he enjoys with his adult son. He also has a couple of dogs, an American Staffordshire terrier named Zoe and a red heeler named Gus, who’s an Australian cattle dog.

Dr. Justin attended Parker College of Chiropractic, where he got a bachelor’s degree in health and wellness and a doctorate in chiropractic.

“I remember wanting to be in healthcare since I was in high school, but knew that I didn’t want to rely on pushing pills for a living,” he says. So, when I finally decided to go back to school when I was in my 30s, I started applying to medical school hoping to become a surgeon of some sort. According to the staff and faculty at the school I was applying to, the surgical specialties that I wanted were really difficult to get, and if you didn’t get chosen for residency in the specialties that you applied for, you basically got relegated to a general physician pushing pills, which is not what I wanted to do. My brother suggested chiropractic school. I had only been to a chiropractor a few times in my life, so when I researched it, I found that it fulfilled everything I wanted in service to people. Now I love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else.”

He has built a business and culture that he is proud of, and couldn’t be happier serving the people of Denton. “It’s really rewarding that I have gotten to know a lot of my patients on a personal level and become friends with them,” he says.

Update: was able to finally get ahold of something that helped resolve the situation. there’s great when they actually respond and help you. Don’t respond to emails, barely answer the phone. I emailed multiple times to freeze my account so I could go and cancel it and cause they didn’t respond they charged me again. Why the heck and I being charged for your mistake! Ridiculous. Answer your emails, answer the phone, and return your voicemails. There’s no point in having any if you ain’t going to you them.

I went in for an adjustment Saturday. The chiropractor was GREAT. I was looking forward to coming back again in the future. UNTIL I went to check out and #1 they try to sell you packages and then not disclose everything you have to pay for upfront until you are about to swipe card and #2 the receptionist ended up overcharging me for my service. She called the owner. The owner said they have to wait 24 hrs for the amount to go through before they can reverse the overcharge. I asked for a receipt which I never got. She said they would send me a receipt on Sunday after 24 hrs. Well now we are over 48hrs later on Monday. I have not got a refund or a receipt. I called this morning to ask about my refund. I told the receptionist I just wanted my money back. She was rude and told me she had customers and had to get off the phone. I am a customer in need too just like the customers in the store. She said she would call me back after the customer leaves. She never called me back. I have never been to The joint before. This was my first time. It's really sad that I would have went back to the great chiropractor that I had but now I will never come back to this business. Horrible customer service. Careless mistakes that cost me money. Dismissive. Unorganized. I would definitely be leery of supporting this business. You might get scammed out of money too.

This place is a meat grinder for sales. The owner gave me two sales pitches while I waited for an adjustment and then after at the counter. He had to sell me a package. I felt like this guy cared about his bottom line and not my health. There are three benches for adjustments so he can do three at a time. I came out hurting more than when I went in. He told me to go to the mall to get a massage, which I did. They fixed me. I won’t be coming back to this place. I almost walked out during the first sales pitch. Sir, take a listen to what you’re saying to people. You really made me uncomfortable. I feel like you stole my $55.00 and tried really hard to get me up to whatever that “holiday special that ends tomorrow” even tho Christmas is still a few weeks away.

The experience was ok and thank God it actually helped my back. I used to go to a chiropractor all the time when I was a teenager. They treated certain needs I had and was specific with the care I got. This was NOT that. I know good chiropractor service. I was just given the most basic adjustment and sent on my way. And the guy sold the monthly subscription HARD. Seeing that it would help to come multiple times, I thought it would be good. They told me I got a deal for $45 for the first month so I thought why not. But that’s where they get you. They tell you that you can cancel it before the day of the next month. But they don’t tell you, that in the contract, it says that you have to cancel it in person. So to my amazement, if you go online to try to cancel it the day before, YOU CAN’T. I was then charged $89 for the full price subscription. Called the morning that it went through and they cannot refund me. And I still have to go in person to cancel it. Y’all have lost a customer

I highly recommend checking this place out! I have been trying to get help with my lower back & leg pain on and off for several years but it’s always inconvenient or too expensive. Finally i discovered the joint, since day one the staff has greeted with warm smiles and the chiropractor has paid attention to detail in order to address my pain issues. I also work a lot so time is important, every time I show up for an adjustment I’m in and out within 15 minutes. It really sounds too good to be true but check it out for yourself and be the judge, the prices are also very affordable. I know I personally look forward to my weekly visit and as a result my leg numbness and lower back pain has gone from a 8/10 to a 1-2/10, a big thank you to everyone at the joint.

When I first came to the Joint on loop 288 I was in the worst amount of pain due to multiple herniated discs including a lateral shift in my lower back that made me look crooked. I really do appreciate The Joint chiropractor clinic. Dr. Tyler Sudduth is amazing he did an awesome job! He never hurt me not once. The last chiropractor that I went to he hurt me pretty bad. But not Tyler. I told him what my problem was and he did the adjustments that my right shoulder needed and he also instructed me on what exercises I could do at home to help my body to heal and it worked! I'll recommend this clinic to anyone who wants to be healed correctly and who will follow the doctor's orders.

I was told for years to never see a chiropractor it would ruin my body, but due to injuries in my past and nothing I was doing was working I decided to take a chance. Best decision I have made and never looked back. The chiropractors here are very thorough, listen to my concerns and issues and have helped me get back into better alignment....to the point I know now when I am out of alignment and can go right in for an appointment and feel so much better immediately! Your front desk receptionist are absolutely ? percent goof people. Want to lift them up there were no seats available when I checked in and they texted me on my phone. All round Terrible experience. Whoever was working the front desk sold me a month of adjustments, which I was open for. But she never once mentioned this was a plan that was reoccurring every month. They teach their front desk very unprofessional sales methods. And the owner didn’t even ask what was wrong or where I was suffering when it came to the actual adjustment. Just said lay down. Popped my back in like 2 mins and said done.

Signed up here. Cust service was horrible & chiropractors did the bare minimum. Went to Coppell and Flower Mnd locations and things were awesome there. Healed up after about 5 months so I called to cancel, was directed back to this location bc I signed up here. The lady on the phone, Shea - once she knew I wanted to cancel she was extremely rude. I told her I was going to leave a poor Google review & she said she didn’t care. Good business idea here but a horrible customer experience makes $100,000 of marketing & business strategy go to the crapper instantly. “You’re only as good as your last customer…”

The receptionist, Sierra, is ideal, she is always so positive, energized, and client focused. Beware of The Joint! DO NOT trust their services. They have charged me for over two years (with zero services) and when I went in to cancel, they said I do not have an account with them, so there’s nothing they could do. After calling the corporate office, they said they’d look into it, they have not. It is a scam—once you sign up, you will not be allowed to cancel. By the way, the person you’ve cleverly called my friend is my child (dependent). It would be nice if you all would do the right thing. Again, avoid signing up!

I have tried this office over about a five year span at its current location and the previous location. The only reseaon I returned, is while working in santa rosa, california, the location there was very helpful, knowledgeable and helped me to relieve the pain I was having. after having told myself I would not return the a "THE JOINT" office again from past experiences with the Denton location. I paid for their wellness package out there and had four adjustments left on my account I needed to use when I returned to denton. I left two adjustments unused because of poor and painful results. I will again stick to my former decision not to return to this location.

I had a really great experience working with (Nicole) I believe, in the front she had Glasses and beautiful beachy long hair. She explained everything really well and made me feel comfortable after telling her my pronouns. The doctor was awesome, he was thorough, made a plan with my information in mind, and adjusted me. Amazing experience. We were lucky to drive past the joint on a Sunday afternoon when my husband was suffering from some back pain. They got him in quickly and they were able to get him some immediate relief. He’s been back 3 times now and got me to get 2 adjustments as well. Staff has been friendly and they’ve been very quick to get us in. Had to cancel my subscription due to Serena at the front desk. Very rude and aggressive, Serena has yelled at customers that she will not do her job, and actually said she was doing me a favor by refunding the $80 she charged me without my knowledge or consent. Not worth the headache for the subpar chiropractic care

The receptionist was very nice and the chiropractor was also very friendly. I tried this place because my regular chiropractor was out of town and te hours were convenient. Went on a Saturday afternoon and was seen almost immediately. I was disappointed in my adjustment and spent the rest of the weekend in more pain than when I went in. Update: The main chiropractor of the office reached out. and after speaking, let me know that what I experienced wasn’t typical of his office. I appreciate that he offered to readjust my back and see how he could make things right on their end. I would consider going back to the office another day if my regular chiropractor is unavailable. I could tell that customer service is really important to them!

We went in to the Denton location tonight. Got there at 6pm and there was not one person in the place. The guy working was sitting down and asked how he could help. After stating I needed an adjustment he went on to tell me that he couldn’t take a walk in after 5pm because he gets to busy. I would certainly understand if the place was packed but like I said there was not a person in the place. This was awful customer service and I will not be back. I’m sure he enjoyed sitting in his chair starting at the walls for the remainder of his shift.

Dr. Justin is a miracle worker. Went in with lower back stiffness and pain. Came out feeling 100% better. The neck and back cracking was not pretty, but it sure was worth it and needed.

Love that this Chiropractor is open on Saturdays. Super easy and fast to get in and out with a great feeling adjustment. Only downside is that they don’t accept insurance, however, they have monthly maintenance plans that are extremely affordable.

By far the BEST Chiropractor you'll find in Denton. I've been to several others in the area, and no one gives an adjustment the way Dr. Tomblin does. He's quick, thorough, effective, and very well educated. Unlike many of his local competitors, he's not a salesman either. He truly keeps the integrity in Chiropractic adjustments.

This was my first time here and although I have been to other locations, this doctor didn't even review my previous notes or assess my back prior to adjusting. He adjusted very violently all over, including, grabbing my head while laying face down and yanked my neck without telling me. Post adjustment he still didn't assess my overall back condition to make sure that my back wasn't over adjusted or that any areas were missed. Now, 2 hours later I am very uncomfortable, my hips and neck are out and I have an excruciating headache. This doctor probably can be great, but I did not like his method. Very dangerous in my opinion.

I’m telling all my coworkers and friends about this place because it is so worth it! It’s very affordable and doesn’t pressure you to continue going. I went because I was just curious about the practice and I just so happen to be experiencing some stress in my upper back from work and driving. I felt so much better after Dr. Justin did his thing. He’s a very nice and welcoming person and explains everything to you thoroughly. I will be going back next week!
