Dr Hamid Kantara has been in the healthcare profession for over 37 years. He began as a volunteer with the American Red Cross stationed in the Intensive Care Unit assisting nurses care for patients. Soon after, he became an EMT/Paramedic volunteering in a Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) EMS service. After working in a private Ambulance Service, Dr Kantara became one of the first paramedics hired to work at UTMB Level One Trauma Center during the HIV Epidemic.

Dr Kantara's initial plan of going to medical school changed when he was introduced to the Chiropractic profession. He graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1995. He remained involved in the EMS world by becoming Adjunct Faculty at San Jacinto college teaching paramedic classes. He was also an EMS-Instructor and EMS examiner certified by the Texas Dept of Health. He worked as Clinical Preceptor overseeing paramedic students on rotation at Ben Taub and Hermann Hospital Level One Trauma centers.

Dr Kantara was invited to work at Johnson Space Center-NASA. During his 11-year tenure, he had the opportunity to work in the Health Maintenance System of the Crew HealthCare System for the International Space Station.

Dr Kantara launched a Chiropractic and Functional Medicine clinic in 2011 which included chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists and Tai Chi. In addition to providing chiropractic care, his patients gained access to Micronutrient testing, delayed allergies and food hypersensitivity testing, and neurotransmitter testing.

In 2018, Dr Kantara helped open The Joint Chiropractic Clinic in Fulshear and was instrumental in the opening and development of the Rosenberg clinic. In January 2022, He came on board full time as V.P. of Operation overseeing the three Joint Chiropractic Clinic in Fulshear, Rosenberg and Richmond (Aliana). Dr. Kantara is certified in and maintains a Functional Medicine practice in Clear Lake.

I can’t say enough great things about The Joint Chiropractic in Rosenberg—especially Dr. Linder and Bella! No “just a few minutes” that turns into 30—Bella does not play like that! Then there’s Dr. Linder, who greets me like I’m her very first (and favorite ?) patient of the day every single time. She never rushes, always listens, and genuinely cares—like, you can tell she’s not just cracking backs, she’s checking in on you as a human. I go in for an adjustment and leave feeling better physically and emotionally… which I’m pretty sure wasn’t on the original treatment plan, but I’ll take it! Between Dr. Linder, Dr. Jai, Bella, and the rest of the team, this place has turned into more than just a chiropractor’s office—it’s basically a wellness hangout. I visited today, and I found Dr. Linder to be extremely unprofessional. The neck manipulation was excessively forceful and aggressive, resulting in immediate pain. The handling of such a sensitive area felt unsafe and showed a serious lack of professional judgment. I left feeling physically worse and concerned about the standard of care. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution others before allowing neck manipulation here.

I purchased a 10-pack in January 2024, from Dr. Williams at this location, after being assured I could share the sessions with family members. I made this intention clear at the time of purchase, and Dr. Williams confirmed it was allowed. Now, on September 30, 2025, when a family member urgently needed to use one of the sessions, I was told they are not transferable. Adding insult to injury, I am unable to use them myself due to medical reasons. That means I’m out hundreds of dollars for services I can’t use and was misled about sharing. This feels like a bait-and-switch—misrepresentation at best, dishonest at worst. If transparency and customer care matter to you, look elsewhere.

EDIT: I’m editing my review because the chiropractor, Dr. Linder, was very tentative to my needs back in May. The review should not go against her. If I ever did return, I’d hope she is still there. I also hope enough training has taken place with the employee at the front desk. They are the first line of contact for customers, and the first interaction for a customer upon every visit is important. I was insulted for wanting to cancel. I experienced back issues in May, which is when I created my membership but I have only visited one time since. I was prepared to cancel and be more than willing to pay full price for other visits whenever I have time. However, without knowing my reason for canceling, the girl at the front desk made a comment that they should have given me a different package if I don’t know how to use time management. I don’t believe a customer should be insulted or bullied for making a decision to cancel. Now, instead of me choosing to go in sporadically and willing to pay full price for each visit, I won’t be returning to The Joint in Rosenberg at all. I suggest hiring a receptionist or anyone in customer service that is more understanding or taught to have basic human decency.

I chose The Joint Chiropractic through an internet search. This was after leaving my insurance approved Chiropractor because I could not afford their set price. Very professional and clean. I expected a "corporate chiropractor " to treat me more like a number, so I was pleasantly surprised that was not at all what my experience was. Dr. Linder listened, asked a lot of questions, as I have a very extensive history of issues and spinal injuries. I expected to use this visit to get me through until my normal chiropractor got back in town, but the experience was so good, I will probably be switching permanently. This chiropractor office is okay, however, I was disappointed with the pressure to commit to weekly adjustments, which seemed more about revenue than patient care. When I explained that I couldn’t attend weekly sessions, the chiropractor responded dismissively, shaking her head as if frustrated by my decision. This made me feel more like a sales target than a valued patient. I do not plan to return to this office.

Received an offer for a free consult and upon arriving was told “oh that offer ended last month”. I had made my appointment while the offer was still in effect and at no time during the appointment booking was I told that the offer applied only if the appointment was completed up till a certain time. Good morning, my overall experience with the Dr. was great but dealing with the coordinator was not so great. I came in on Friday for my adjustment and the lady asked me which Dr. I wanted to see I shared with her Dr. Peete , she explained to me that he was doing an examination and I would be next. There was a guy that came in after me she allowed him to go before me, so I proceeded to the counter and asked what happened and she said he was here earlier. I explained to her , if that was the situation, that she should have notified me about that when he walked back in the building. The coordinator had and attitude with me and I told her I’ll be back later. I didn’t return back that day, instead I came in on Sunday and had a better experience with her not being there. Apparently I missed signage that had been posted about a staff meeting and arrived during that time. I appreciate the service that Dr. Greg provides and since it was an oversight on my part, I'm amending my review and changing it to 5 stars. If there is a way to update hours temporarily on Google maps for temporary hour changes, that feature would be good to utilize in the future. If Google maps doesn't have that feature for businesses, they should add it. I've had this issue with Google maps and posted hours on Google maps not aligning with temporary changes to business hours in the past with other businesses as well.

To begin with this review I have never been to a chiropractor and I was highly recommended by a friend to try The Joint Chiropractic. I decided to try it since they have a $29 promotion for first time trial. I met with Dr Williams out of the Rosenberg office and she was amazing. I was very satisfied with her head to toe evaluation. She then explained in detail the issues she noted. She then proceeded to work on my body and did a phenomenal job in a full body alignment. I know I needed more work and she suggested I needed extra visits to target problem areas. I know I felt a lot of relief and felt more relaxed. I am now on my third visit and I love looking forward to meet with Dr. Williams. I highly recommend this location and Dr. Williams.

I was referred here by a Coworker. Ive always had back pain growing up, but I always thought going to the chiropractor was very costly. The Joint is very affordable and reasonable! I had my first exam and treatment. Very knowledgeable team from the front desk to the back. I feel amazing! I was put on a plan to help realign my hips. I cant wait to continue this journey. Highly recommend! Even if you are not experiencing pain. They offer maintaining and wellness too.

I have many physical problems due to birth and injury issues and lost my chiropractor of 25 years last fall. I've been in worsening pain ever since until I went to The Joint. I have a history of neck and back pain, so I dropped by the Joint for some help. Dr. Williams was amazing! She really listened to my concerns about my pain and addressed all of my issues. The reason I started seeing Dr. Williams is because I had a very bad experience from a hot stone message at a very reputable message spa. The hot stone message left me temporarily paralyzed for about 2 minutes multiple times and during multiple days. No one could understand what was going on or why until I started seeing Dr. Williams. After the first visit with her I instantly started feeling better and I have had only one episode that did not last as long and was not as severe. After 4 visits with Dr. Williams, I can truly say that I have not had any more episodes and I feel like I can continue on with living my life worry free. I was so nervous to get adjusted the first time I went but seeing Dr. Williams has easily become my favorite thing to do! I went to treat extreme neck and back soreness and stiffness and it’s improved so much since my first appointment! It’s so relaxing and my daily life and activity have become much easier. The front receptionists are always so kind and helpful! I highly recommend coming into the joint to get your adjustments done. Dr.Williams is one of the chiropractors there and she is AMAZING! Dr. Greg, Dr. McKay, Dr. Evans are the three chiropractors that I have seen so far and every single one of them are wonderful! I feel so much better and I am moving a lot easier after I go get my adjustments. Nice place for getting your basic joint issues fixed.. Dr Grey was knowledgeable and attended to my needs.. My back was hurting and his treatment has really helped.. This was my first chiropractic experience and let me just say, it was the best! To begin, I was greeted by Caitlyn as soon as I entered. She was super friendly and accommodating. I had a great first visit with Dr. Greg at the Rosenberg location. He was very thorough and helpful. I wanted to sign up for the Wellness Plan to receive 4 sessions for the next month (price is very affordable) but unfortunately there was no wiggle room. I am only visiting my parents in TX for the month and will be traveling for the next year and I couldn’t commit to the minimum two months for the Wellness Plan. I could’ve gotten the package but it was pricier and I live in CT, where there isn’t any location close by.

Not impressed. Initial phone call was with a person who didn’t seem very experienced. I specifically gave them the number to call but they called a different number back (the one I called from but didn’t want a call back to). The day of the visit, I was underwhelmed by the doctor. I almost left but went ahead with the visit. I had a diagnosis previously and explained it to the doc but he didn’t seem interested in finding out more. Of course since it’s a franchise type operation, they’re really about making money and try to sell you packages. When I told the girls at the front that I wanted just the initial visit, they tried to tell me how much more it would be if I didn’t get the package right then. I understand all of this as a franchise style clinic and expected it. I will be taking my business to an independent chiropractic professional.

My Doctor, is good at what he does.. I had tweaked a muscle in my upper neck/shoulder area. Been stiff for about a month. Once Doc popped my body, the stiffness went away.. I was able to turn my head left & right and regained full use of my left arm again which was limited to lifting anything.

quick and easy access. the rates are reasonable compared to other clinics. I was having lower back issues which tuned out to be hip related. Now I visit for maintenance every other month or so.

If you haven’t been to The Joint chiropractic location in Rosenberg you are missing out on some phenomenal people and doctors. Wait time is ridiculous. Have waited over an hour on multiple occasions. I've attempted to go more than 5 times and always end up driving 15 miles down the road to Sugarland and wait no longer than 10-15 mins. Today I thought I would be proactive and make an appointment and the woman that answered the phone was rude and condescending. "oh you've waited an hour before!?" and No we dont make appointments. <-- Ive been there signed in, sat down and waited and seen people come in sign in and walk to the back. So unless they have some kind of vip pass then they are playing favoritism or making appointments. As if I dont know how long i have been sitting down waiting?? smh

Great experience from walking into the door and walking out the door. Front desk lady Destiny was amazingly nice and very professional. My Dr was very easy to talk to and did an amazing job making the adjustment. I liked that fact that they honored my military service with a discount on the initial visit. I also like that they have multiple locations around me and that can offer assistance. When I got out of town, I can swing by any of their locations and receive an adjustment if needed.

I came in to the joint chiropractor because I was having extreme pain in my right shoulder. The pain really limited my workouts. I went in to get an adjustment and to hopefully fix it but I was not relying on them to assist with a shoulder issue. BUT! Dr. C listened to me and was very very nice. I still see her. I have been to 5 visits and I have no pain!! She continues to find the source of my limited movement in my shoulder. I absolutely love how she works. I am saddened that I will be moving in a month and won’t be able to see her. She has tackled what I thought was an impossible thing. Thinking about a chiropractor, I only expected the back and spine adjustments to be the focus. But I was wrong.

I have been going to various joint locations for several years. Most recently, my closest location is Brazos Town Center. I am just now getting to know the doctors, as all seem to have a uniqueness. Today, I saw Dr. Mark. I can be difficult to adjust, especially my neck. Dr. Mark took some time to get my muscles to relax and was able to get a good adjustment of my neck giving me almost instant relief.

Coming here has always been a good experience for me! The doctors and facilitators start the entire process by making sure exactly how they can be of service by checking medical history and seeing how many issues can be corrected with their assistance. I've mainly gone to Dr. Peete and Dr. Greg recently and they have always gone above and beyond to provide excellent service. Great Place to find relief pretty much on demand. Really liking the walk-in concept and is very affordable, a great value. I went to the Joint Chiropractic because my right leg and foot went numb. I found out I had a slipped disc. I felt better after my first visit. I have been seeing Dr. Walker since last month. My right leg is fine now but still visit once or twice a week for adjustments. I feel so much better after every visit and look forward to getting my adjustments. This place is WONDERFUL. I walked in and was very cheerfully greeted. I explained I was a new patient and right away the lady behind the desk got everything for me to sign. After a moment I was called to the back to get my exam and adjustment done. It was perfect. Doc asked a few questions and got right to it. Finally the pain in my upper back is gone and I'm able to move pain free. The options for ongoing care are reasonably priced and easily established.

Wasn't sure how I would like going to a chain store chiropractor. I've been in chiropractic treatment off and on my whole life. I've had chiropractors I loved and some I didn't like, but so far I'm in love with The Joint. I love the hours and the ease to getting into The Joint. Just walk in and scan your card to get in line. No appointment. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but it's not bad. You don't ever know which doctor you will get but so far they have all been equally great. Can't beat the price, the hours and the service. 10/10 recommend.

Turnover is very high. It seems that every time I find a chiropractor I love at the Rosenberg location, they are no longer working there by my next visit. I went in today for an adjustment only to learn that yet again my favorite chiropractor, Dr. Nguyen, no longer worked there. There was only 1 chiropractor there today and the wait was 1.5 hours. I have cancelled my membership.

The place is right next to my house so I am a a frequent patient. I have seen different doctors but Dora is the best. I have been looking for doc like her all my life. I have been coming to this location of The Joint since they opened. This location has been amazing. The front desk staff greets guest by name and spends time checking in with them. The doctors in this office are top notch. Dr. Jung and Dr. Danna have help me so much with my back and I faithfully come at least once a week. I have been going to Joint Chiropractor for about 5 months and Dr Jung does incredible job in adjusting my neck pain. I used to have neck stiffness and pain and slowly and gradually I am recovering from it. The staff is very friendly and very welcome. I recommend anybody who are looking for chiropractic within their budget.

The staff is ultra accommodating and not pushy to get you to sign up for packages. Dr. Jung and Dr. Danna are amazing! To be honest, every Dr. is good here. They listen to your complications and provide the necessary techniques to make you feel better. I love how cheap it is too!

Highly recommend. Very friendly staff and doctors. Dr. Jung did more for my 13 day migraine in just two days than the emergency room or doctors could do for me in 10 days! Two adjustments and the headache was gone. I continue to go weekly to keep it that way. They also offer packages of four and six week visits at very reasonable rates. No reason to go anywhere else...they are the best!

10/10 i could not recommend this place enough. Dr. Jung has taken my knee pain from a 9/10 to a 1/10 in as little as 1 session. It really is amazing how knowledgeable he is. He was able to describe all of the reasons for my pain in a clear and concise way, that was actually very accurate. The owner is also extremely helpful and a wonderful person to talk with. I literally can not recommend this place enough. Dr. Jung did in 6 minutes what my massage therapist could not do in 6 months, its really amazing. Go give them a try and i promise you wont regret it, what do you have to loose? honestly nothing, get up and go try them out right now, no appointments needed just go. 10/10 i will keep my membership for life.

This place is awesome. Before coming here I had constant lower back pain and severe migraines but after visiting Dr. Jung I haven’t had a single migraine and my lower back pain has diminished considerably. Moreover the place is nice and clean and the staff are constantly disinfecting surfaces. The front end staff are always pleasurable and respect. I highly recommend this place one of the best chiropractic offices in town.

Just had my first experience today with Dr. Jonathan Jung, He was very welcoming very warm and friendly and gave me a great adjustment I am a hairstylist and work 14 hours a day with arms up and feet on the floor he was super nice and professional and Alex was also the amazing nice and friendly front desk customer service representative they both were amazing I am so happy to have a location right here close to my home and business ... I will be back for sure to get another adjustment from Dr. Jonathan !!!! The customer service was over the top I am a business owner myself and there’s nothing greater than a warm welcome and a great handshake with a smile.... will be back for sure !!! The doctor was very informative. I liked that there were different payment options and that they do wall ins. I have had other chiropractic work before, and have paid the same price Also if u want to win a prize they make you show your review before getting it.
