I’ve been coming to see Dr. Dalton for 4 weeks and am thrilled to have found her. Dr. Ray stands out for his excellent and attentive care. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk staff has been consistently problematic. Most concerning was an incident where they incorrectly tracked my husband's appointment dates, leading to an uncomfortable confrontation where a front desk staff member wrongly accused him of attempting to receive services he hadn't paid for. This type of unprofessional treatment, combined with their apparent lack of a proper patient management system, made every visit unnecessarily stressful. Information we provided seemed to vanish between visits, and we encountered billing issues twice, each requiring multiple follow-ups to secure refunds. While we appreciate the quality of medical care provided, these administrative challenges and disrespectful interactions ultimately led us to cancel treatmet. It became clear that the stress of dealing with the front office was undermining the benefits of the treatment itself.

The Burke location of The Joint Chiropractic lets you schedule the initial intake (and plenty of paperwork); after that, all sessions are walk-in. The Doc took plenty of time with me, and gave good clear explanations (I'd never been to a chiropractor before), and the number of "pops" she got out of my poor sore back confirmed that this was the right move at the right time and place. I recently had a very disappointing experience with the Joint Chiropractic Burke customer service. After canceling my membership in person, I was not informed about the necessary paperwork to ensure a complete cancellation. As a result, I was charged twice and accused of trying to get away with something. This unprofessional treatment has left me feeling extremely dissatisfied. I believe that the Joint Chiropractic needs to improve its training procedures to ensure that customers receive accurate information and proper guidance when canceling their memberships.

It’s been over a decade since I’ve seen a chiropractor. Five kids and 6 moves later, my back was telling me it’s definitely time for some TLC. The Joint saw me right away, discussed problem areas, adjusted me and I felt relief the same day! I was amazed that my back didn’t hurt through the night, for the first time in YEARS! It's been a few years since I visited a chiropractor mostly due to moving to a new area and I haven't had a need. Recently I injured my neck and lower back. I found "The Joint" on line and thought I'd give them a try. On my first visit I found the staff friendly and helpful. The doctor asked a lot of questions and then adjusted me. This gave me immediate relief. She suggested that I return in a few days and have it adjusted again so, today I went in for the second visit. Again the front desk was friendly and helpful and doctor Ray adjusted me and relieved the stiffness that was expected to be there after the initial adjustment. Overall I'd say it was a good experience to the point that I purchased 10 visits in advance. If you need a chiropractor I would highly recommend you give these folks a try.

I went there in the winter time to get a general adjustment for some back pain and migraines (which can be treated with chiropractic practice), and I walked out feeling worse than when I walked in. I was in a severe amount of pain for 3-4 days afterwards and my migraines have become more frequent and intense. I honestly think Dr. Ray did more damage than helping me. There was a part during the adjustment where he was pressing on my back while I was face down on the table, and it was supposed to drop at the hip area to relieve the pressure. When he went to do that adjustment, the table didn’t drop and his full force and weight pressed harshly into my lower back near my sciatic nerve. It’s been roughly 6 months since that experience and I still feel the pain from that “adjustment” on the table.

Keep in mind, every individual chiropractor will give you a different experience. I went to The Joint once and saw only 1 doctor, so that will make my experience different than someone who went to The Joint and had a different doctor. The Joint has a few doctors that serve each location. I wasn't very impressed with the one I saw at the Burke location. She was nice, but I've been to a few different chiropractors who provided a more complete experience. I have a friend who does Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia who worked for The Joint and he was much better. The joint is a good budget, beginner level chiropractic experience. It's a little more fast paced with less individual attention than other chiropractors I've visited. However, the price is much better. I like that they accept HSA. The location is nice and the signup/ payment processes are seamless. I recommend the Joint to first time chiropractic patients and people on a budget.

They attract customers by offering low priced service advertised on facebook. When you visit, they lure you in to subscribe to a wellness program and then make it extremely difficult to exit that program. To cancel the membership, you have to visit physically, three days before the date of next cycle. Even if you go 1 day prior to the next cycle, they charge you and tell you it’s non-refundable. Professionally not very good. Just stereotype. Same process applied to everyone almost every-time. Don’t have option to rate less than 1 star. Not recommended.

I adore Dr Dalton! I will go out of my way to come the the practice on the days she works because I feel like she listens, remembers, and educates her patients in a way that is very empowering. She does the whole neck cracking thing while I’m sitting upright, which far lessens my neck tension and allows her to really give me an amazing adjustment each time. Her office staff is kind and professional and I rarely have to wait more than 3-5 minutes. They really have been so helpful!

Used their services for a while, but when I came in to cancel they did not provide me with written notice of cancellation. It was the beginning of the month and the customer service said I can use their services until the remaining of the month (verbally). I don't know what she put in the system which I came in today for my three children and was charged full price for a total of $150 when I was still under the month of February to be able to use. They put the blame on me, did not offer me to speak with the manager, and charged me with the month of February and independently charge. For your sake, make sure to obtain something in writing. I will make sure not to use this company again, nor would I recommend them.

Magic! Dr. Carlos is among the best chiropractors I’ve visited in over 50 years. No strain, no pain (from the treatment!), just blessed relief. In my case, instant relief! I love chiropractors that don’t wrench my neck or crush my ribs to realign the joints! Thanks to everyone on the team at The (Burke) Joint! UPDATE, 4/12/2024. Just took my 100 year old mother in law to see Dr. Reyes here. She was able to treat her very gently while still sitting in her wheelchair. Normally my MiL is VERY vocal about pain. She didn’t complain once during treatment, and even now, 2 hours later, she isn’t complaining about pain. Painless, effective treatment is what I’ve come to expect here at the Burke Joint. Really good team here, we’re very pleased!

I was hesitant to write this review, however the more I think about it, I feel it is important for me to present facts on how I was treated today. So it goes like this: 1. I enter Burke Clinic around 3:10ish today 12/30/23. I was asked to go in the back at 3/25ish as person before me had finished. 2. When I went in the back, the DC asked how have things been since my last visit to “The Joint Chiropractor”. I briefly explained that I am okay, have lower backache but before we continue I will like to use the bathroom. 3. It took me around 4 minutes to use the bathroom. Upon I return DC has moved on to another person, I sit on the seat and waited again for my turn. I was bit annoyed but waited my turn. 4. When the person before me finished, only head liner was changed, no other disinfection was done. I was concerned but did not let this stop me because I was had lower backache. 5. When I was asked to lay on table face down, I did but I was still trying to explain where I felt the pain. No thought was given as no there were no follow up questions. Mind you this not my first adjustment. 6. DC proceeded to pop my upper back, middle back and I guess my hips and neck. I was told I can get up when I am ready as I was done and to use heat when I go home as it has been a while. 8. As I am getting ready to head out, DC disinfectant the table. I am like okay… was I not worth having a clean table? 9. It’s 9:27pm on 12/30/23, I can not move as my lower back hurts. I have to bend my back because I can not stand straight. I have used heat as suggested at least once per hour every 15 minutes because it hurts worse than when I go there today. 10. I have seen physicians or chiropractors before and I have been asked details before my treatment by them. I would never had to imagine being treated the way I was treated today.

I hate their lunch break cutoff. Too many times I have been there at 1:45 and told to come back later. The line was backed up because of a new patient. Too many times this is happening. I dont even bother going at pewk times anymore because of the long wait. This location needs another practitioner. Please use an online que.

Be careful be careful this place is scamming people they don’t break down the agreement to you to be clear until you find out yourself for that reason they have a female manager who is specialized on fighting and arguing with costumer and not providing the good costumer service and just keep in mind if you sign up and you want to cancel you have to sign a cancellation agreement but after two months that what they did to me they lie to me the told you can cancel anytime and when I was trying to cancel after first month they say no you have to pay for two months first and then cancel

Updated Review-This location is HORRIBLE! Always opening late (but sure not to close late or see a client just before their lunch closing time in fear of missing their break) and sometimes, randomly, closed. After the situation last year, the owner reached out to me and offered for me to come back. I decided to give them another chance. What a mistake. Random Wednesdays and Thursdays closed without notice-other days opening late-we all have a life and a schedule-they can arrive on time. If you open at 10, you should arrive by 9:50 so you are open and ready at 10. Today, the “doctor” on duty arrived at 10 past 10. Asked me to wait outside a few min-because they weren’t ready to open-then informs me I need to come back later because the desk staff is running even further behind and the doctor can’t access their desk to run my payment. I had cancelled my wellness plan for several reasons-but she knew me. I told her I had several appointments and this was the time I had to be seen-offered my cc-offered to call it in or leave the number for the desk agent-just please see me and set my back so I can go on to my next appointments and my day. Nope. Zero customer service skills. Zero empathy. She isn’t there to assist wellness she is obviously there to clock in and clock out. I went up the street to a “real” chiropractor who offered X-rays and other services-whom stated they have had several of The Joints clients come to them recently as they were also displeased with the joint and the operation and how they were treated. Fair warning-you get what you pay for. Your health and your back is utmost important-don’t “discount shop” go to a real chiropractic office. My experience with The Joint and the locations Chiropractors has been excellent. Each doctor has a specific way of treatment-different way of adjustments; and all have an excellent bedside manner. 5 Stars for the doctors. My problem and the 1 Star is for the management of this location. I have never been spoken to as demeaning as the manager spoke; nor have I ever been hung up on. The manager is very unprofessional. When I was overcharged (only $10 but its the principle) I called in and was informed the manager was with a guest and would call me right back. Shew didn’t. I waited the entire following business day before calling again. She finally returned my call-started with a lie stating she was not at the practice (when her employee had informed she was there) then continued to speak over me as I was telling her my issue. When she finally allowed me to speak she interrupted me and spoke down to me. She is highly unprofessional, rude, and does not belong working with the public. I will never go the this business again and I will make sure to inform everyone in all aspects of social media of her actions.

Just came back from my first appointment and Dr. Carlos put me back into place! I feel brand new and my stiffness is gone. I have a lot of old injuries and I wasn’t expecting to feel this good after just the first visit. He was very thorough and listened to me with great care. He was great at explaining what he was going to do before he would do it so, which made me feel relaxed and not anxious. I just signed up for the monthly membership and am excited to start receiving weekly care. I really like how I have the freedom to go to multiple locations because I travel often and it’s difficult to get consistent care with my lifestyle. The office is very clean, modern and is located in a very convenient location so that I can errands before or after my sessions. Rowena at the front desk is very helpful, sweet and just a pleasure to be around. I honestly wish I would’ve gone in sooner! The military discount is great too!

Dr. Carlos was unbelievably caring and honest. My knee injuries were treated gently and, the subsequent pain in my shin and ankles was hurting but he suggested physical therapy would be best. Who is going to be honest about limitations of your body and their own skills- I hate doctors who overpromise to cure it all. Honest. Kind. Efficient. Love it. My first time of visiting a Chiropractor, the doctor is cool and good in communication. Everything feels great. My first time visit a lady and her husband was there her behavior towards the doctor and the receptionist was rude. Her husband was a nice man, He told the wife they should wait but the was there shouting. I know we customers are always right but we have to respect the people we work with, because they work with us.

First time at The Joint Chiropractic and Dr. Carlos was very thorough in his evaluation questions prior to adjustments. I have had adjustments before so I knew what to expect. The adjustment was great he didn’t force any of the adjustments that weren’t releasing and gave great recommendations for after care. The front desk staff was very accommodating and able to answer my questions. Everyone at this location was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning to this location.

Horrible experience. My husband and I have been The Joint customers for years and were excited to have this branch open so close to our home. Our first visit was today as walk-ins. There were a few people in front of us so there was a bit of a wait. Not an issue, it's a walk-in clinic and we are used to a periodic wait. However, after waiting for 20 minutes another customer comes in 4:58 saying she has an appointment at 5. After another 10 minutes the front desk person invites my husband and I to step back into the treatment bay as we are the next patients. As we walk back, she asks us if we would let the other customer go in front of us. The other person is a new customer and those intake appointments are often 30 minutes or longer. Rather than let my husband and I get adjusted quickly, they wanted us to wait another 30 minutes and give the new customer, who had been waiting for 10 minutes the priority. Frankly, that's horrible customer service and worse staffing and poor management. What I can't figure out is why they only have one chiropractor working in a new clinic during it's busy hours? I wasn't impressed with the response from the front desk attendant or the chiropractor. Not a great start for this clinic.
