Drink Plenty of Water Daily
Health and wellness experts advise that healthy living is built upon a foundation of proper hydration. To maintain proper hydration, research suggests that you should consume at least half of your body weight in ounces each day. For those who do not love water it may require some time to adjust your body to drinking it. In the meantime, there are plenty of flavored waters from which to choose.
Find Time to Exercise
Those who consider themselves healthy generally make plenty of time to exercise. Although you may not consider yourself a gym rat, nor would you want to become one, getting to the gym for a few minutes each day can put you on the path for healthy living. Research suggests that those who struggle to find time to work out daily can get by with a minimum of at least 20 minutes, three to four times each week. If you prefer to avoid the gym, going for a brisk walk through your neighborhood can be enough to impact your health.
Eat Your Veggies with Each Meal
Although veggies may not be the most exciting part of any meal, they are important to your health. Research suggests that eating your vegetables can allow your body to absorb plenty of minerals and vitamins needed to fight off infection and illness. If you are one who prefers to skip the veggies, it may take time to learn to love them.
