Dr. Vincent Manfre, D.C. is a California native and currently resides in Reseda, CA where he has been The Joint’s local chiropractor in Porter Ranch, CA since 2013. Dr. Manfre has always had an interest in both health professions and natural healing disciples. Becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic was inspired by his time as a patient, when his chiropractor provided him with rapid relief and overall improved function. Because of his experiences as a patient, Dr. Manfre attended Cleveland Chiropractic College where he obtained his own Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1989.
Dr. Manfre prides himself on his patient care. He has learned to treat a variety of patients ranging from infants to grandparents all with a range of symptoms including neck pain, lower back pain, migraines and sciatica pain. Dr. Manfre finds that being able to provide relief through the use of his chiropractic efforts and manual manipulation is one of life’s greatest gifts. He prides himself on seeing his patients with improved functionality and enhanced wellness.
When he is not working at The Joint Chiropractic, Dr. Manfre is typically either hiking, swimming or spending time with his wife, Mary, and their two sons.
Dr. Patrick Sau joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2021 when he became part of the team at the Thousand Oaks clinic, where he does the rewarding work of helping people as their local healthcare provider.
“The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is helping people achieve their maximum health potential,” he says. “I love educating people about their spines. Early on, I knew my profession was going to encompass my passion for a healthy active lifestyle.”
A product of the San Fernando Valley, Dr. Sau has worked as a chiropractor previously in Glendale, Port Hueneme, and Ventura.
When he is not in the office, he enjoys living a healthy lifestyle, which, for him, includes powerlifting. He’s a big fan of Franco Columbu, the late Italian bodybuilder.
Dr. Sau earned his doctorate from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles after getting a degree in biology at Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier.

If he could bring together any four people from history together for his ideal dinner party, Dr. Sau would include martial arts legend Bruce Lee and actors Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, and Charlton Heston.
A book that he recommends highly is Seven Habits of Highly Successful People by Stephen R. Covey. “It’s a self-improvement book that helped a lot along the way,” he says.
The food that he always keeps stocked in the refrigerator is yogurt. “I really enjoy the taste,” he says, “but you can’t beat the health benefits of providing good bacteria into your diet to help with the digestive system.”
Dr. Richard Reiss, D.C. was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and served in the U.S. Air Force as a medic right out of high school. While in the Air Force he worked in several base hospitals varying in capacities. After his honorable discharge he attended Cal State University Dominguez Hills, where he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree. Soon after Dr. Reiss attended the Los Angeles Chiropractic College where he graduated and obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1981. Since, Dr. Reiss has been The Joint’s local chiropractor in Santa Monica, CA dating back to October of 2015.
Dr. Reiss took his skills as an Air Forceman and has learned to serve the Santa Monica community. Through the use of manual manipulation, Dr. Reiss can tailor his adjustments to serve those with sciatica pain, neck pain, lower back pain, migraines and even scoliosis. He finds it very rewarding to relieve his patients using his two hands.
Dr. Sandra Rosso loves her role at The Joint Chiropractic and providing local healthcare services to patients at more than one clinic location – both Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley.
“I really like being a conduit for aiding the body to heal itself,” she says. “I believe that if we allow our body to be in alignment without interference to our nervous system, it has an amazing ability to heal itself and remain in balance. Regular adjustments and proper nutrition put us in the optimal position to fight off disease or other environmental hazards.”
Dr. Sandi, as her patients call her, previously worked in Pacific Palisades.
She was born in Solvang and grew up in Calabasas. She and her husband, Tim, met when their daughters played volleyball at California State University, Northridge. They were married in Hawaii and together they have two sons and two daughters and a pet African gray parrot named Pearl. When Dr. Sandi is not working, she enjoys playing golf, and she’s active in the volleyball community.
Dr. Sandi graduated from UCSB in Biopsychology and earned a Doctorate at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.
“I always knew that I wanted to help people and felt that I have a healing touch,” she says. “My older brother started chiropractic school and after attending classes with him one day, I knew immediately it was the place I needed to be.”
One of Dr. Sandi’s favorite experiences as a chiropractor is helping athletes perform at their optimum level through chiropractic care.

The coolest experience she ever had was attending the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. “My ex-husband coached the men's volleyball team and my brother-in-law and sister-in-law both played on Olympic volleyball teams,” she says. “I was able to visit the Olympic Village and met a lot of amazing athletes. I loved watching sporting events daily, and seeing The Three Tenors live at the closing ceremony was spectacular.”
Dr. Sandi’s favorite books are the Bible and The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
Dr. Gianfranco Roberto became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2024, serving residents in Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley doing the work he finds so rewarding.
“I enjoy assisting people by reducing their discomfort and helping them get their wellness back on track,” he says. “I maximize patient care by employing various chiropractic adjustment techniques and sharing the knowledge and skill I have gained from chiropractic school and through 10 years in practice.”
Dr. Roberto grew up in the San Fernando Valley where he experienced chiropractic care first hand after being involved in a car accident in 2001. “A friend of mine growing up was a chiropractor and I became one of his patients,” he says. “I was able to get great results from his care and decided to go to chiropractic school because of this experience.”
In addition to enjoying time with his wife and daughter, Dr. Roberto enjoys golfing, martial arts, and working out.
He earned a Doctorate at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles.
One of his most memorable experiences as a chiropractor was helping a patient recover from severe shoulder pain, eliminating their need to undergo surgery.

Dr. Roberto’s favorite book is The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi. “It gave me a new perspective on how to look at things and develop new strategies for ways to approach life,” he says.
Dr. Stuart Martin joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2024 when he became part of the team at the Simi Valley and Oxnard clinics, where he does the rewarding work of helping people as their local healthcare provider.
“The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is being able to help others with pain and stiffness in their lower back, neck, and mid back,” he says. “I can go to work every day and help a lot of people feel well.”
Dr. Martin previously worked in Beverly Hills, Glendale, Montrose, and Ventura.
“I grew up in Waterloo, Iowa and moved to Los Angeles in 1990,” he says. “I was an aspiring actor and injured my back in a warehouse at my ‘day job.’ I was referred to a chiropractor and in three weeks got complete relief. I told my chiropractor I thought I could be doing what he was doing and his response was, ‘I was thinking that about you.’”
Dr. Martin and his wife, Coleen, love spending time with their children and raising their pets. Coleen is both a writer and an academic librarian.
When he’s not working, Dr. Martin enjoys watching the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team play and sharing some of his favorite “dad jokes” with people. “In my spare time I’m doing yardwork, listening to music, cooking and eating, going to church, reading, completing personal and professional growth training and development courses, and hanging out with my wife,” he says.
Dr. Martin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn. He earned a Doctorate at Cleveland College of Chiropractic in Los Angeles.
When asked about the most memorable situation he has experienced as a chiropractor, there are numerous stories to share. “One of the best aspects of working in this field is the ability to help as many people as possible,” he says.
What he appreciates about The Joint in Simi Valley is the genuine sense of community he has experienced. “Patients have embraced me into their communities as their own,” he says. “I feel like I have found my tribe.”

“There are a few must-haves in my refrigerator, and one is definitely oat milk,” he says. “It is awesome on my cereal and adds a kind of nuttiness to my coffee.”
If he planned his own “fab four dinner party,” including four famous guests, Dr. Martin would invite: NBA champion Kawhi Leonard, the late Pope Francis, Curly from “The Three Stooges,” and the late singer/songwriter James Ingram. “That experience would have zaniness, warrior energy, and profound humanity, resulting in a night with a wonderful gang,” he says.
The coolest thing Dr. Martin has ever experienced was providing leadership in the late 1980s on a project called "America's Greeting Card to the Soviet Union," a people-to-people project to wish the citizens of the USSR a Happy New Year. “What was so cool about it was that I got to be an integral leader in a project that brought together American corporations in a common cause to help end the Cold War,” he says. “I was able to see how profitable peace can be.”
Two books that have had an impact on Dr. Martin include the Bible and Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman.
