Meet The Doctors
Dr. Bryan Cain joined The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2023 when he began serving residents in Georgetown, where he relishes the opportunity to do the work he finds so rewarding.
“The best part of being a chiropractor is the opportunity to help others experience their true potential naturally, and give them the opportunity to express more of who they are by eliminating nerve interference through chiropractic adjustments,” he says. “Over the course of 17 years, I have seen thousands of lives completely change for the better, including their quality of life and overall look on health. This is why I love doing what I do; we are a very unique profession. Because health comes from above, down, inside out – not the other way around – chiropractic is the only profession in the world that truly allows our health to express itself in that order.”
Raised in the northwest corner of Iowa, Dr. Bryan, as his patients call him, previously lived in South America and worked in Lima, Peru for 11 years.
His wife, Isabel, is a native Peruvian. “I met her while sharing the gift of chiropractic with others while in Peru,” he says. They have two daughters named Loani and Grace.
Dr. Bryan loves to be outdoors, particularly for his favorite form of exercise – running. He’s completed numerous 10K races and several half and full marathons.
He earned a Doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. "While other professions are concerned with changing the environment to suit the weakened body, chiropractic is concerned with strengthening the body to suit the environment," he says.
Dr. Bryan enjoys educating patients, “allowing people to truly understand the greatness of chiropractic and what changes it offers, other than just the absence of neck and back pain.”
One of the strong suits of the North Lake clinic is its friendly atmosphere. “Here you will feel as though you are a family member, not just another ‘number’ that walks through the door,” Dr. Bryan says. “Everyone that works here genuinely cares for and listens to the needs of patients who want to change their lives through chiropractic.”
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Bryan always has something sweet on hand: “My biggest downfall is enjoying sweets too often.”
If he could create the perfect dinner party including four famous guests, Dr. Bryan would invite his favorite actor, John Candy; Sean Connery; Walter Cronkite, to hear about the many historical events he covered and people he met; and Hitler or Stalin, whom he’d like to ask, “Looking back on your legacy, was it worth it?”
The coolest experience of Dr. Bryan’s life was when he visited one of the seven wonders of the world in Peru – Machu Picchu because “Learning about previous civilizations such as the Incas makes you appreciate your life more.”
