Dr. Michelle Ruppelt, D.C. was raised in Glendale, Arizona but is a proud Wildcat alumni from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. While at the UofA, Dr. Ruppelt studied nutrition and physiology with a focus in clinical dietetics. She then became inspired by the idea of holistic and natural healthcare and found herself in Chesterfield, MO where she graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2010.
Dr. Ruppelt has since moved back to Tucson, Arizona where she has served as The Joint’s local chiropractor since February of 2017. Dr. Ruppelt finds her passion in helping her patients achieve their health and wellness goals. Over the course of her career, Dr. Ruppelt has learned to serve a range of patients and how to treat a variety of symptoms and ailments. Beginning from as young as an infant up through grandparents and great grandparents, Dr. Ruppelt can treat cases such as neck pain, lower back pain, sciatica pain, migraines and dozens of others.
When Dr. Ruppelt is not working at The Joint Chiropractic in Tucson, AZ she is participating in active hobbies such as weightlifting, spinning or running.
Dr. Kelly Ostler joined The Joint Chiropractic team in April 2019 when she became the local chiropractor for Tucson, AZ. Dr. Ostler obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West.
Dr. Ostler was born in Koenigstein, Germany and raised all over the western United States. Though she wasn’t born here, she has always considered Arizona to be her home.
Dr. Ostler knew from a young age that chiropractic care was her calling. When she was born her left foot was slightly turned in and after twelve years she sought out an adjustment. After her appointment, her foot was straight and she had found a new career path.
Dr. Ostler loves being able to help her patients in Tucson find their relief and encourage them to live the healthiest lives possible.
Over the course of her chiropractic career Dr. Ostler has learned to serve a range of patients from infants to grandparents all with a variety of ailments such as sciatica, neck pain, upper and lower back pain, migraines, arthritis and much more.
In her free time, she enjoys cycling and reading, and spending time with her husband Josh and their two little boys.
Dr. Melissa Ellyn Cox, D.C. was born in Pittsburgh, PA and raised in Beardstown, IL. She attended Logan University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology in 2012 and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2014. Dr. Cox grew up wanting to follow in her father’s footsteps, and did just that. She saw her father helping their local community, bettering people’s lives and educating them as a chiropractor.
Throughout her professional journey as a chiropractor, Dr. Cox has learned to serve a variety of patients from babies to grandparents and a range of cases, including migraine relief, sciatica pain, neck pain, and lower back pain through the use of manual manipulation. She has been The Joint’s local chiropractor in Tucson, AZ since October 2017 and is honored to serve the Casa Grande community as well.
Dr. Cox’s passion is seeing her patients live healthier and fuller lives as a result of her chiropractic efforts. Maximizing the connection between the brain and body through a well-adjusted spine leads to each of her patients achieving their health and wellness goals. She particularly enjoys helping those who are skeptical and try chiropractic as a ‘last resort’ and end up loving it and become passionate about routine chiropractic care.
When she is not working at The Joint Chiropractic in Tucson, AZ, Dr. Cox spends her time reading, running or working out. She also can be found spending time with her husband Jordan and her two children.
Dr. Mike McGurn joined The Joint Chiropractic family of local healthcare providers when he arrived at the Tucson clinic locations in December of 2019. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1980 and is well-suited to meet the needs of local Tucson, AZ patients.
Prior to attending chiropractic college, Dr. McGurn went to Palmer Junior College as a Pre-Med student. He has always had a passion for helping others. He also loves that chiropractic care serves as a non-invasive technique to pain relief without the use of drugs.
Over the course of his professional career, Dr. McGurn has learned to serve a range of patients, from grandparents to infants and athletes, all with a range of cases including arthritis, sciatica, low back pain, migraines and more.
When Dr. McGurn is not working at The Joint Chiropractic he enjoys staying active and reading.
Dr. Karen Kolarik recently relocated to the Tucson area and joined “The Joint Chiropractic” in June of 2020. She spent the past 26 year practicing in the Boston area as well as guest lecturing at Harvard University and teaching at Wellesley College.
Dr. Kolarik grew up in a family of nine in Wisconsin. She attended Life Chiropractic University in Georgia and has lived all over the United States.
Her passion is serving as a chiropractor and helping people live healthier, more productive lives. She loves getting to know her patients on a personal level and watching their lives change with chiropractic care.
When Dr. Kolarik is not working, she love’s spending time with her family, her church, cooking and all the outdoor activities Tucson has to offer.
Dr. Miranda Parris was born and raised in West Des Moines, Iowa, and has always loved Arizona. After graduating with her Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University, she decided to move to Tucson in order to be closer to her family. She is now a local chiropractor for The Joint Chiropractic in Tucson, AZ.
Dr. Parris has been interested in chiropractic care after being born with a hip condition, which lead to several sports related injuries. She tried multiple therapies and treatments, but chiropractic care was the most successful for her. Her passion for helping others to live to their full potential led her to a career in chiropractic. Dr. Parris’ favorite thing about being a chiropractor is working with and helping people.
Throughout her chiropractic journey, Dr. Parris has learned to serve a wide variety of patients from babies to grandparents through the use of manual manipulation. Dr. Parris has learned to serve a wide range of patients with varied symptoms and ailments, including migraines, upper back pain, lower back pain, neck pain, arthritis, sciatica, and more.
When Dr. Parris is not working at The Joint Chiropractic in Tucson, AZ, she enjoys hobbies including hiking, reading, and walking her dogs Max and Lily.
