Dr.Mason joined The Joint Chiropractic’s family of local healthcare providers in 2020 at Joint Chiropractic’s Santa Rosa location. A graduate of Life West Chiropractic College, who studied Kinesiology w/ Concentration in Exercise Science and Chiropractic medicine, she received her doctorate of chiropractic in 2013, she still enjoys learning and loves sharing about a healthy lifestyle and the profession. Dr. Acacia, as she likes to be called, says the best thing about being in the chiropractic field is: “Teach patients the importance of spinal alignment to improve the overall health & wellness of their life.”.
The second best thing about being in the chiropractic field is “ Helping people improve their posture and wellbeing”. A product of Sonoma County and still enjoys living in the North Bay with her family. She also likes: Reading, time with kids, outdoors- beach, camping, hiking, biking.

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done, and why was it so cool? Took middle school daughter on a guided overnight backpacking trip to Yosemite in the snowstorm to learn survival skills. It is scary, Cold, and very cool to learn how to survive in harsh conditions.
Dr. Bob Swiryn joined The Joint Chiropractic’s family of local healthcare providers in 2020 at Joint Chiropractic’s North Bay Area locations. A graduate of Life Chiropractic College, West, who studied Religion andChiropractic, he received his doctorate of chiropractic in 1992, enjoys teaching and loves sharing about the profession. Dr. Bob, as he likes to be called, says the best thing about being in the chiropractic field is: “I enjoy working for The Joint because I get to just be the doctor, doing what I love best – treating patients – while allowing others to take care of the business end of the practice”. I like the Hayward location, as it’s a short commute from home (SF), and I can interact with students from Life West.

He also enjoys Golf, music, travel, playing the guitar. He knew chiropractic was his calling when- “ I had several back injuries early in life, and was very impressed when my mother took me to a chiropractor who was able to give me instant relief – although not permanent – while the medical doctors I saw were talking about drugs and surgery”

If he could sit down with any three people for the dinner party of his dreams, he would include: 1) The Dalai Lama, Jesus, Buddha and Norm McDonald. I would be able to ask questions about the personal lives and knowledge of some of the greatest religious leaders of the world, and have Norm’s sense of humor keep us all grounded and enjoying the dinner.
The coolest thing you’ve ever done, and why was it so cool?
I think jumping out of an airplane with a parachute was pretty cool because it made me overcome fear and give me the unique perspective of free falling and gliding through the air.
