Dr. Robert S. Reid, also known as Dr. Rob or Dr. Reid to his patients, joined The Joint Chiropractic in March 2023 and has been proudly serving the Jacksonville, FL community ever since. Born and raised in Hamilton, NJ, a suburb of Trenton, Dr. Reid discovered his passion for chiropractic care early on. He earned an Associate of Science degree in Biology from MCCC in West Windsor, NJ, in 1984, and continued his education at Life University/College of Chiropractic, where he graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1988.

Dr. Reid's professional journey began with a year of practice in Atlanta, GA, before he established his own successful practice in Tifton, GA. He finds great joy in helping people improve their well-being, believing wholeheartedly in the body's natural ability to heal itself. He lives by the mantra, "The power that made the body heals the body," and is passionate about removing barriers to health for his patients.

In his personal life, Dr. Reid enjoys spending time outdoors and supporting youth sports, particularly with his three children: Ethan (14), Andrew (12), and Laura (10). He and his wife, Jennifer, who is a Professor of Business at Jacksonville University, are also proud pet parents to Maddie, a spirited 5- year-old Goldendoodle.

Dr. Reid's favorite part of working at The Joint Chiropractic is the alignment he feels with its mission of improving lives through routine and affordable care. He appreciates the opportunity to connect with his patients and help them live healthier lives. Outside of work, he's a fan of fresh, whole foods and recalls flying in a glider aircraft in Upstate New York as one of the coolest and most exhilarating experiences of his life.

If Dr. Reid could host a dream dinner party, his guests would include Elon Musk, Wayne Gretzky, Dwight Eisenhower, and Sir Isaac Newton, each of whom has achieved groundbreaking success in their respective fields. Dr. Kelvin Bolar joined the family of healthcare providers at The Joint Chiropractic in 2019. A graduate of Central Michigan University, he earned a bachelor's degree in health fitness and rehabilitative methods with a minor in exercise science. He received his doctorate of chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Dr. Kelvin, as his patients call him, is excited to be part of the team of local chiropractors serving Jacksonville.

"One of the best aspects involved with being in the field of chiropractic is the ability to offer an individual pain relief, allowing them to get back to the activities that they enjoy without the use of medication," he says. "The other thing that's gratifying is the opportunity to meet so many people from various backgrounds."

When he's not working, Dr. Kelvin likes going to the movies and building remote control cars with his son. Dr. Kelvin and his spouse share three beautiful dogs Jordan, Zane, and Tank.

He has a passion for chiropractic because there's such a direct connection with the patient. "When I learned of the chiropractic profession and how chiropractors literally take a hands-on approach to naturally help improve the lives of patients, I knew it was something that I had to be part of," he says.

If he sat down with any four people from history to create a dinner party of his dreams he would include media mogul Oprah Winfrey, Disney CEO Robert Iger, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, and Microsoft founder Bill Gates. "I would like to have a dinner party with these individuals due to their public reach and employee base," he says. “I would discuss the benefits of chiropractic care in relation to employee productivity and decreased time off due to musculoskeletal issues. My aim would be to get each of these individuals to offer chiropractic care for all of their employees with The Joint Chiropractic as a national partner provider."

Although he may not be very adventurous with his cereal, that's not necessarily the case out in the world. "The coolest thing I have ever done is hike to the top of Mt. Quandary in Colorado," he says. "With an elevation of 14,265 feet, this is the highest that I have ever hiked. If I were to ever do it again, the only thing that I would change would be the time of year: hiking to 14,000 feet in the middle of winter is terribly cold!"

Dr. Nolan Gallagher joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2025 as a healthcare provider in the Jacksonville, FL community. He began working at the Jacksonville clinic in May 2025 and brings with him a unique background of service, leadership, and dedication to helping others feel and move better—naturally.

Dr. Nolan values the opportunity to support patients without the use of drugs or surgery and enjoys building lasting relationships while guiding them toward long-term wellness.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in 2013. After graduating, he served as a Cutterman in the U.S. Coast Guard—an experience that taught him leadership, endurance, and a deep sense of fulfillment through service. Following his military career, Dr. Nolan pursued his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida Campus, graduating in 2025. Prior to Jacksonville, he worked in Port Orange, FL.

Originally from New Milford, Connecticut, Dr. Nolan now lives in Florida with his wife Justine, a talented wedding florist and entrepreneur. They share their home with a 90-pound Doberman named Jetty and two cats named Salt and Pepper. They are excited to start a family in the near future. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, strength training, grilling, playing frisbee with Jetty, and exploring local restaurants with Justine.
