Dr. Lorenzo's chiropractic journey began in the early 90s when a training partner suggested he see a chiropractor for a lower back injury sustained while squatting. Once he experienced the many other quality of life benefits of chiropractic, there was no turning back. He finished his bachelor's degree at FIU and enrolled at Parker College of Chiropractic graduating in 1999. Dr. Lorenzo is a lifelong Miami resident, but after chiropractic school he returned to the city of his birth and started practicing in New York. While working at a high volume clinic he was able to practice with a variety of different techniques to ensure the best outcome for his patients.

While in New York, he met his future wife and they decided to move back closer to his roots and start a family of their own in Miami. He has been married for over 23 years and has two children aged 19 and 13. He is a die hard yet long suffering fan of the Miami Dolphins who one day hopes to see them win a Super Bowl. He has been with The Joint since 2023 in various clinics throughout Miami-Dade and Broward county. "I love practicing at The Joint. The mission statement, to improve quality of life through routine and affordable chiropractic care is not just words. It's really easy to practice when you see the benefits so many people enjoy."
