Dr. Ivan is originally from Puerto Rico. He moved to Marietta, GA in 2011 to follow his dream of becoming a chiropractor.
Dr. Ivan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Since graduating from Life University, Dr. Ivan has been practicing locally in the Acworth, Kennesaw, Marietta, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Cumming, and Dawsonville areas. He is now the Clinic Director in Alpharetta North. He takes the time with patients to properly treat them and establish a solid doctor-patient relationship. He has used different techniques on his patients to help them achieve optimum health. These techniques include Full Spine, Activator, Thompson, and Extremity Adjusting.
In his spare time, Dr. Ivan enjoys playing sports, fishing, and spending time with his daughter and wife.
Dr. Mercedes was born and raised in Lansing, MI and moved to Marietta, GA in 2011 to attend Life University. She obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life in 2016, was a mobile chiropractor in 2017, and joined The Joint in April 2018. She is now a staff doctor at the Alpharetta North and Cumming Town Center locations with occasional coverage elsewhere. Her personal mission is to educate her patients as much as possible about their bodies so that they are able to make the best possible decisions for their health. She is proficient in Full-Spine/Diversified and Activator techniques as well as Post-Isometric Relaxation stretching techniques. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, painting, crafting, and playing video games with her fiancé.
