Dr. Steven Woltin joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2020 with his arrival at the Johns Creek clinic location. He received his doctorate of chiropractic from Life University in Marietta.
Dr. Steven says the thing he likes most about being in the chiropractic field is helping patients get better without drugs and surgery. “The other thing that’s really gratifying is being able to talk about health and wellness with so many people,” he says.
A product of Long Island, N.Y., Dr. Steven worked previously in Roswell, when he’s not spending time with his wife and two daughters, he enjoys ice hockey and soccer -- he’s a founding member of Atlanta United Football Club. The family also has a yellow Labrador and a fancy boxer named Maji and Remi, respectively.
Dr. Steven says he fell in love with chiropractic “when I realized that the power that made the body also heals the body.” He also loves the fact that such power is so easily accessible at The Joint, which provides “quick and easy adjustments for the masses.”
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Steven says the one thing he always keeps stocked in his refrigerator are “green drinks because they are so good for me.”
If he could bring together any four people from history to create the dinner party of his dreams, Dr. Steven would include an eclectic group: “BJ Palmer, the developer of modern chiropractic, because he was an amazing visionary; DB Cooper because I would want to know if he survived the jump from the plane; Nikola Tesla because he wanted to bring free electricity to the world; and God, because He’s got all the answers.”
Cooper, the hijacker who has never been identified, would probably have plenty to talk about with Dr. Steven, who says skydiving was the coolest thing he has ever done. “Why was it so cool,” he asks. “Because we jumped out of a perfectly good airplane.”
Dr. Halina Krupa, D.C. was born and raised in Poland and moved to the United States to pursue the American dream. Dr. Krupa joined The Joint Chiropractic team in January 2018 when she became the local chiropractor for the Atlanta, Georgia community. Dr. Krupa received her undergraduate from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey, and then went on to receive her doctorate of chiropractic from Life University in Georgia in 2005.
Over the course of her professional career as a private practice owner and now a Joint Chiropractic team member, Dr. Krupa has learned to serve a range of patients from infants to grandparents with a variety of ailments including migraines, neck pain, upper and lower back pain, sciatica and much more.
Dr. Krupa first became interested in chiropractic care when she saw first hand the results chiropractic care can provide after working in a chiropractic office during high school. She had the opportunity to see patients get results through a natural and holistic method of medicine, when often no other alternatives were working. It was because of this experience Dr. Krupa decided to pursue a career that helped others in the same way.
When Dr. Krupa is not busy working at The Joint Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia she is an avid knitter, and enjoys knitting baby booties and blankets for her friends and family. She can also be found putting together puzzles with her two daughters Kaya and Sage.
