Dr. Robert Toth has been a chiropractor since 2001 and became part of The Joint Chiropractic community in 2014. He began working as the local chiropractor at the Market at Haynes Bridge clinic in Alpharetta in 2016.
A product of rural North Carolina who gravitated toward tending to the animals and the fields, he graduated with his doctorate from Life University in 2001 after studying chiropractic healthcare, sports physiology, and nutrition.
Dr. Toth says the best thing about being in the chiropractic field is his role of teacher. “I love helping patients achieve optimal health,” he says, “and educating them on the benefits of natural healthcare.”
He began that career in Atlanta, and his experience allows him to seamlessly treat infants, expectant mothers, and athletes. He was team chiropractor for the Georgia State and Chamblee High football programs, and the Atlanta Silverbacks Football Club (soccer).
He and his wife, who he says is also his best friend, enjoy outdoor living, spending time together with family and pet chocolate Labradors Remy and Montelena, and watching and participating in all sports.
It was sports that pointed Dr. Toth on his career path.
“I suffered multiple fractured vertebra of the spine during a high school football injury,” Dr. Toth says. “Surgery was recommended but instead I opted for a less invasive option and began seeing a local chiropractor, and it changed my life. It was my chiropractor who suggested that I look into chiropractic school and the rest is history.”
Now, he is the local chiropractor who changes other people’s lives, and it’s not anything he would change for the world.
“I’m lucky enough to reside in the area in which I work,” Dr. Toth says, “so I am not only helping patients, I am helping neighbors.”
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Toth says he always has coconut water in his refrigerator: “I live a very active lifestyle and it is hard to stay hydrated.”
Her says his ideal dinner companions would reflect his interest in military history, and he would love to pick the brains of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and generals George S. Patton, Robert E. Lee, and James Longstreet. “History, in general, is a passion of mine and I have an extensive collection of rare historical books.”
No doubt, they would all be impressed with what Dr. Toth calls the coolest thing he has ever done: “I went surfing,” he says, “during a hurricane.”
