Meet The Doctors

Dr. Mark Workman, DC is a Chiropractor at Cary

Dr. Workman grew up in the contemporary and relatively large city of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He made his way to the east coast to attend chiropractic school in South Carolina. Dr. Workman graduated Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2003, and holds a B.A. in Health Management from Luther College. He later found a place to call home as a chiropractor in Cary NC.

Dr. Workman has always been passionate about health and wellness. His parents both worked in the healthcare field. His mother worked as a nurse and his father worked as a dentist, so it was an easy choice for him to follow in their footsteps into healthcare. He started his involvement in the health and wellness field by working as a massage therapist, physical therapy rehabilitation specialist, strength & conditioning coach, and a personal trainer. His vast experiences prior to his chiropractic career allowed him to diversify his wellness and rehabilitation programs to obtain the most success for his patient’s injuries and concerns.

Dr. Workman is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner in Cary NC who uses manual and low-force adjusting techniques, trigger point therapy, physical therapy modalities, stability strengthening and resistive exercises. His experience in neuromuscular conditions and soft-tissue injuries has allowed him to serve as chiropractor for Campbell University Athletics (2004-2006), various running groups (TNT & Galloway), and TRImyCoach triathletes.

He has been married to his wonderful wife since 2003, and they enjoy time with their 10-year-old son and golden retriever. Not only does he advocate and promote health & wellness to his patients, he is an avid exerciser and always sets aside time to take care of himself. He has completed 5 triathlons and 4 Ironman competitions at the elite national level. During his free time, he coaches his son’s soccer team, takes his golden retriever on runs, plays golf and enjoys time with his family.

Dr. Cherese Scotton-Bratcher, DC is a Chiropractor at Cary

Dr. Cherese Scotton-Bratcher was raised in Wilmington, Delaware. She received her chiropractic degree from Parker University in Dallas, TX in 2014, and she also holds a B.S. in Nursing, which she received from Hampton University in VA.

Dr. Bratcher is unique because she has been on both sides of the medical fence. After being in the medical world for so long, she decided to go to massage therapy school with dreams of opening a day spa. During her studies, she saw how medically beneficial massage was, but she still felt there was a missing link. She discovered the missing link to be chiropractic, which began her Cary NC chiropractic journey. She believes the two go hand in hand. Chiropractic addresses the nervous and skeletal system, where massage addresses the muscular system.

Dr. Bratcher is a part of The Joint Chiropractic Cary Team and The Joint Chiropractic Morrisville Team. She has been happily married for 18 years to Troy, and together they are raising their 9-year-old nephew. Dr. Bratcher is a dancing queen, practicing Zumba and salsa dancing as much as she possibly can when not working!

Dr. Kevin Trippe, DC is a Chiropractor at Cary

Dr. Kevin Trippe graduated from Parker University in Dallas, TX, in 1999 and has been helping people move better with less pain ever since. Originally from Hot Springs, AR, he also holds a BA in Liberal Arts from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. Dr. Trippe has extensive knowledge in sports medicine and rehab. During his tenure as an Airrosti Certified Provider in 2010, Dr. Trippe maintained provider relationships with the University of Texas, The San Antonio Spurs, The Dallas Cowboys, CrossFit Gyms and many high school and college coaches, athletes and trainers.

Dr. Trippe has successfully treated Boston Marathon runners, volleyball and football players, and semi professional golfers along with plenty of weekend warriors and soccer moms. Many people are interested to know that Dr. Trippe is certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association to adjust animals. He usually sees dogs but adjusts his own cats regularly.

Dr. Trippe met his wife, Leslie, when they both sang in the FUMC choir in downtown Dallas. They have two smart, talented and beautiful daughters, Tessa and Kara, ages 9 and 7. When not in the clinic, you can probably find him on his bicycle or enjoying time with his family.

Dr. Trippe is currently a member of North Carolina Chiropractic Association, Parker Alumni Association and the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
