Dr. Michael Graff is originally a Tri-Cities native, raised in West Richland, Washington. Throughout his teenage years he was actively involved in soccer, weightlifting, and many other physically demanding activities. After high school graduation, Michael enrolled at Brigham Young University in Provo where he continued his athletic ambitions as well as developed a passion for learning and understanding the human body-particularly the musculoskeletal system. This led to his decision to pursue and earn a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness, which he did after returning from a two-year mission for his church in Colorado. It was also at BYU that Michael met and fell head over heels for his now wife Aubrey which he claims is reason enough for having attended BYU for as many years as he did.
After graduation Michael worked numerous odd jobs while trying to decide the direction to take his newly earned degree and admittedly spending too much time in the gym. After one particularly ambitious weightlifting session, when Michael was scheduled to work a ten-hour shift, he found his low back was in so much pain he felt he could not even stand up straight. After about an hour of hobbling around his shift, Michael’s manager recommended he go to The Joint Chiropractic located in the very same mall. With a lot of hesitation (Michael believed Chiropractic was all quackery) he decided to give it a try. To his amazement, after just one visit Michael’s pain was so dramatically reduced that he was able to finish his shift as well as gain a completely new respect and interest in the Chiropractic profession.
Michael and Aubrey then decided to move to Portland where Michael enrolled at the University of Western States. Michael graduated in 2020 as Doctor of Chiropractic with a master’s degree in Sports Medicine. Along the way, Aubrey and Michael were thrilled to welcome their son Leroy in 2018 and then their daughter Ellie in 2020. Both have been incredible additions to the adventure.
During any free time he can find, Dr. Mike loves going on adventures with his wife and children, enjoying the mountains and beauty of the Pacific Northwest, going to the gym and eating great food.
My name is Dr. Greg Fillmore. I was born in Tucson, Arizona and moved through many states before planting roots in 2001 in Lake Oswego, a suburb just south of Portland Oregon. Growing up I was always a very active kid participating in as many sports as I could. As expected with active kids I had my fair share of bumps and bruises and was always fascinated by the body's ability to heal and recover after these injuries.
As a child of two physicians medicine and health were always discussions, we had around the dinner table. This was the start of my passion and fascination with the human body and what it was capable of. This interest would lay dormant for a time while I was figuring out what life had in store for me. While attending Portland Community College I started taking human anatomy courses and this sparked my interest again. After 2 years at Portland Community College I transferred to Southern Oregon University in beautiful Ashland, Oregon to start my undergraduate degree in pre physical therapy.
My change over to become a chiropractor was not something that I saw in the cards when I left for Ashland, but it has been one of the best decisions of my life. Towards the end of my undergraduate career I was feeling very disheartened by the lack of joy and excitement that I was getting out of Physical Therapy and was looking for a change. Luckily, I knew someone who was attending Chiropractic school in Portland and I thought I would check it out. Before this I had zero experience with chiropractors. After shadowing a couple of appointments, I knew that this was the career for me. The hands-on approach as well as the ability to offer immediate help to someone was very appealing to me. Shortly after shadowing I applied and started studying at the University of Western States and the rest is history.
When I am not treating patients, you can find me outside with my wife Tiffany in the garden, playing with our chocolate lab, or playing sports competitively where I have had the honor of representing my city and country. As an active family we understand that mobility is crucial. My goal for all my patients is to ensure they are getting the care they need to get up and moving again enjoying the pacific wonderland we call home.
