Dr. Pat Kolwaite was born in Atlanta, GA and raised in different parts of the country, including Little Rock and Syracuse, NY. He received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Auburn University in 1997. While a student at Auburn, he worked for the Tigers football team and saw the benefits and effects chiropractic care had on injured players. He decided that he wanted to deliver the same benefits to others and was accepted at Life University in Atlanta, GA, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001.
Dr. Pat married his college sweetheart, Monika, and moved to her hometown of Memphis upon graduation. He founded and owned Mid-South Chiropractic Center and is proficient in many chiropractic techniques, most often utilizing Diversified, Thompson Drop, and Activator techniques. Seeing the tremendous benefits that routine chiropractic care gave to people’s life, but frustrated by insurance restrictions and expensive out of pocket costs to the patient, he decided to bring The Joint Chiropractic to the Memphis area.
“The everyday stresses that cause so many of our aches and pains don’t go away. People still have to go back to work the next day or continue to put strains on themselves that their body wasn’t intended for. That’s what I love about The Joint. In 2008, he was named to the Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40. He was named Franchisee of the Year by The Joint in 2017, and a finalist for the Memphis Small Businessman of the Year. In 2018, Dr. Pat became a Regional Developer for The Joint Chiropractic, helping to open The Joint locations throughout the states of Alabama. Mississippi, and Louisiana. Dr. Pat and Monika have two sons, Josh and Connor. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, going to the lake, and cheering on their Tigers (the Auburn kind, but they love the Memphis Tigers too!).
Dr. Shane M. Wilson, D.C.

Dr. Wilson was born and raised in Jasper, Alabama and currently resides in Oakland, TN. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Birmingham-Southern College in 1993. He then attended Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia and obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1997, graduating Magna cum laude.
Over the last 19 years Dr. Wilson has had experience working for several other chiropractors as well as for himself before making the decision to join the team at The Joint Chiropractic in January 2015. He is proficient in Diversified, Activator and Drop techniques.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing pickleball, hiking, and spending time with his friends and dog. He has a sweet dachshund pup named Andouille. He strives to live and enjoy life and find a balance between his personal and work life.

1 5 1I started in January, and to be fair, the actual chiropractic part of the business is fine. The problem is the office is running a scam. In July, I noticed I was double billed. I went to this location and talked to the receptionist, who claimed it was because when I added my new card to the system, it added it to someone else's account. How the system was set up to add a swiped card to two different accounts is beyond me, but whatever. She claimed that's why they couldn't see the second charge on my account, but after seeing my bank statement that proved the second charge was there, she refunded it, and claimed she fixed the issue. I failed to pay enough attention in August and September, but today I noticed I was once again being double billed; I had a charge go through Monday, and another pending. Going back through my statement, I saw three charges in September, on the 6th, 7th, and 27th, and two in August on the 6th and 7th, plus the one on the 4th of October, and one pending. This in addition to the second charge in July that should have been taken care of. I went back to the place, and this time the receptionist insisted that "my statement was wrong" and there were no double/triple charges on my account. In short, she admitted that the Joint actively administrates fraudulent charges, and refused to refund the stolen money. I went straight to my bank and disputed the charges, and since it was obvious they charged me multiple times, I have no doubt I'll get the money back. Still, people need to know that the Joint is a scam, and defrauds their customers. They also refuse to return stolen funds they scam from people's bank accounts, and just hope no one notices. Do not use the Joint! Find a legitimate chiropractic.

1 5 1My first visit was great on 1-13-22. I saw Dr.grant I believe. he was through and explained what he wanted to do and what he thought was wrong. Made a plan and asked me to come back in the next day great I felt a lil better like some pressure had been released from my aching back the reason I was there. So I come in today 1-14-22 and Dr. grant wasn’t there or available. So I was given a different guy no big deal there all professionals right? Wrong this guy came out from the back barely glanced at the screen. I’m assuming the lady upfront put my Information on the screen for him if not then he didn’t even look at my file. He gave me a few quick pops nothing like what dr grant did and sent me on my way. First I’m only complaining cause I am now in more pain then I was before my original visit. Second I was literally in the clinic for about four minutes and that’s including my time at the desk there were 3 or 4 people waiting but I was sent straight back to this guy never again lesson learned. Oh and let me add that the area that I’m now having pain at isn’t even the area I was originally in pain

If you missed one or two session it never rollover but if you want some more extra session they going to charge you $10 extra. What a shit policy. (Poor management) New patient reviews take much more time meaning only 1 doctor is adjusting existing patients. Bring your mask because the waiting area is small and you will be there for a while. Doctors are great, management needs to review staffing issues and adjust to the patient load to reduce possible Covid exposure between waiting patients

I am a 100% disabled veteran with chronic neck , thoracic and lumbar issues(secondary issues, arthritis and osteo everything!)
