Dr. Kelsi Kriewald was born and raised in Austin, TX. Dr. Kelsi attended Westwood High School before receiving her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Sport Science from Texas Tech University in December of 2010. She then graduated from Parker University in Dallas in December of 2014 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic.
Dr. Kelsi has experience with several chiropractic techniques; including Diversified, Thompson, and Activator adjusting. She trained in rehab therapy of the spine and extremities.
Dr. Kelsi grew up playing several different sports from a young age. She played volleyball and softball through high school and swam summer league. In 6th grade she developed severe lower back pain that prevented her from playing the sports she loved, so her father took her to the chiropractor he went to. After a couple adjustments her back pain felt much better and she was back to playing the sports she loved. It was then that she wanted to always be a Chiropractor. Her history with sports helps her understand what the patients are going through when they come in and describe their pain and/or the workouts that are occurring during practice/games.
Dr. Kelsi is committed to helping families in the community experience improved health and vitality. Her mission is to empower as many people as possible through genuine care and education. Her love of Chiropractic and authentic concern for others drive her pursuit of excellence in her work as well as her service to the community.
Dr. Ed Collazzo joined The Joint Chiropractic family of local healthcare providers in 2018 when he joined Killeen and Temple clinics. He attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a focus on business before getting his doctorate of chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Mo.
“The thing I love about being in the chiropractic field is the opportunity that I have to treat people with my hands,” Dr. Collazzo says. “The other thing that is so gratifying to me is seeing the patient satisfaction after they’ve been treated.”
Dr. Collazzo worked from Georgetown to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex before settling in Killeen, which is where he was raised.
“I want to provide quality patient-centered healthcare to the greatest amount of patients that would benefit from my services,” he says.
In his spare time, Dr. Collazzo enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and their dog.
He knew chiropractic was his calling after his first adjustment and the difference he felt after the experience. It is a calling he doesn’t regret.
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Collazzo says the one thing he always keeps handy in his refrigerator is flavored yogurt. “It satisfies my sweet tooth,” he says.
If he could bring together any four people -- or in this case, entities -- from history for the dinner party of his dreams, he says he would include “God to answer my questions, Stevie Ray Vaughan to teach me guitar lessons, Claude Monet to teach me how to paint, and Bear Grylls to teach me wilderness survival skills.”
As for the coolest thing he’s ever done, he says it was “watching my son being born because he’s my pride and joy.”
