This location is horrible and confusing. They have written 10 AM to 2 PM at the door but closed sign is also hanging. Door is locked. People are coming knocking on the door. I will cancel my subscription with The Joint. Their quality level is also dropping. They rush for adjustment. Few neck cracks and done. They use to have good chiropractor at San Felipe but once they understand my problem suddenly they gone to another location. After 4 years of membership, I am done.

I quickly needed chiropractic relief and called the joint and they had availability for me right away for only $29. The receptionist Allysa was an exceptional and helped me get all my paperwork in order and my first visit was with Dr. Baldwin who was able to navigate where my pain is coming from and provided quick relief with her adjustment. The price is here are better than my co-pay with insurance so I signed up for their wellness package, which gave me 10 sessions for less than $19 a session. I have now come back twice since my initial visit and have been seeing Dr. Silverman who has been wonderful and assisting with multipoint pains in my back, neck and wrists. He has been able to provide relief to my recent sciatica problems and is very professional. I enjoy coming to see him because I know I will always feel better leaving compared to when I come in.

I came in with right shoulder pain from working out too much. The doctors here Nguyen and Riley are great with their soft tissues! I highly recommend this place. The one issue I’ve had so far is that the staff isn’t very helpful with reminding you of your visits, even if you receive their weekly text reminder doesn’t mean you haven’t already visited 4 times that month so you have to keep track of it yourself otherwise you’ll be charged.

Brutally Honest Review: I came in for an adjustment & the adjustment was awesome but they only get 3 stars for shady & pushy sales tactics. I purchased 1 adjustment on Groupon for a discounted price, after they completed my adjustment they tried convincing me I need 4 ADJUSTMENTS PER WEEK! Outrageous! They tried telling me it's best for "total overall wellness" which is BS. They were trying to push me to sign up for a $80 a month membership telling me with my occupation I am in need of alot of adjustments and when I said no thanks they still handed me a form to complete and sign for the membership. I even spoke with a chiropractor outside of the Joint and they said 4 adjustments a week for back stiffness is insane. They want you to get a membership because it guarantees them monthly income when you might not even actually use the 4 adjustments a week. They do have other plans but they are all pricey. Even 1 adjustment a week is unlikely to be necessary. I recommend the single adjustment for $50 without a membership because I feel I only need an adjustment every 2-3 months. DON'T LET THEM BE PUSHY WITH YOU..

Great place to get adjusted. Dr.Cobbs knows what he’s doing and he shows that he cares about the patient’s concerns. I wish I could give zero stars! I went to this location due to a training being in the area all day and was hoping to get the same level of care that I normally get. I don’t think this man even attempted to glance at my chart. The worst part was how cold and rough he was! Pressing down on me, pulling on my ligaments. He had no respect for my body. I got off that table feeling like I had just been thrown into an alley butt naked. LITERALLY! What a horrible feeling to have with someone who is meant to be a healer. I felt treated with no care at all and fought back the urge to cry. I wish I had spoken up, but we all know it’s a quick 30 second or so process. Just horrible!

Not a pleasant experience. The chiropractor wanted me to agree to a treatment plan right away before fully understanding my issue, explaining my problem, and providing a solution. I told him I wouldn’t blindly sign up for a treatment plans without knowing what I was agreeing to. I understand that my pain and its solution cannot be fixed within one visit, but where you failed me as a customer was your inability to establish credibility and provide any value before you wanted me to sign a contract. I was so extremely uncomfortable. I almost didn’t allow him to perform an adjustment out of fear of my own safety. Everything felt incredibly rushed. The adjustment didn’t hurt me but it also didn’t help with the pain I was in and didn’t give me any confidence that my health was a priority.

I came into the office in a lot of pain, but the chiro explained what the pain was from, what my body was doing and what it’s going to do while recovering. She was very thorough and even got on the floor to demonstrate some stretches and exercises I could do to help. This was my first time at a chiropractor and the adjustment was intense! Not in a bad way at all, just didn’t realize how outta whack my body could be and the havoc it would cause! Very happy with my visit.

I would think that you would ask the patient first where the pain is or what are they coming in for. Shoot! Idk where to begin. I called the clinic because I was having the worst migraine ever. Dr. Nguyen answered the phone and immediately told me to come. I got into a car accident years ago, and since then never received treatment. I do like to pop my own neck, but I realize I was just making it 10x worst. As I enter the clinic, I could not sit, walk, talk, or fill out the paperwork because I was in so much pain. I was literally crying and groaning because my head hurt so much. The front desk Margie reached out to Dr. Nguyen and explained how I could not function. Dr. Nguyen insisted he treat me right away before filling out any paperwork. He got me to lay face up, and started massaging my neck, then he pop the top part of my neck where my skull lies. He continue his treatment by stretching my neck muscles, and afterwards had me sit down at the desk. I was still feeling my migraines, but minutes later I was able to function and fill out their intake forms. Also, he gave me a banana! After I finished the intake process. Dr. Nguyen decided to treat me a second time moments later for the full body treatment. He was very thorough, and got my neck to pop again! Along with my entire body. I never felt a relieving sensation before in my entire life. My vision became clear, the pressure to my head went away, and I was able to walk and move around. I actually left the clinic with a great smile and tears of joy! I would like to thank Dr. Nguyen for reading my situation and giving me the necessary treatments so I can start my day peacefully. If anyone has headaches or migraines, I’m sure you can relate how bad the pain can be. Go see DR. NGUYEN!

Dr. Nguyen is one of the most caring and passionate doctors I have ever met. I am over 75 years of age, and I never been to a chiropractor before. I was really skeptical about it, but Dr. Nguyen’s knowledge of aligning the spine to help relax the muscles got me to believe it can work. I’m an old lady, and I injured my back from trying to pick up a heavy item. I have excruciating pain on my low back traveling to left hip. Dr. Nguyen had to improvise my treatment because he knows the basic adjustment will not work. I’m not familiar with the joint chiropractic, but it seems the franchise does simple adjustments and treatment can last 1-3 minutes. That’s not the case with Dr. Nguyen, he assisted I come at 9:45am before the clinic opens so he can have extra time to work on me. He takes an extra 15 minutes of his time to take care of my primary complaint. Not only with adjustments, but with soft tissue work and stretching as well. I see a lot of improvement so far. I know it may not be the cure to my lower back and hip pain, but Dr. Nguyen’s work has greatly alleviated my symptoms so I can walk better. Thank you Dr. Nguyen for sacrificing your extra time to work on me. Anyone who has Dr. Nguyen as their chiropractor will truly be grateful of his treatment. Highly recommended!

Okay let's start with the fact that I have been in pain for about a year in a half. It would come and go and would just be in my back lower and then next time between my shoulders. I'd cry and would be miserable. Couldn't sleep good, couldn't do regular activities and couldn't play with my son or work properly. I would barely turn in fear of throwing my back out and I'm only 36. I used to work out 5 times a week and that was out the window. I told my PCP and was prescribed medication and physical therapy. After going for a few weeks and of no improvement the last time I went I left and my back went out for 3 days I said no more. I've been to the joint before and I remember after going for a little while that it did improve and I did have relief and life was BETTER. I have been working with Dr. Nguyen, Dr. Benton, and Dr. Austin in both mission bend and westheimer. They all have been great loosening my lower back and both hips. I have been going to chiropractic for over 20 years and I must I would like to give a shout to Dr. Benton. He is very thorough in his treatment and has treated body parts that no Chiro has such as my Psoas, TFL, and glutes muscle group. Every time I have visited has been spectacular up until the most recent visit. Much rather not say the doctors name, but definitely got criticized for working out, was not given any instructions on any stretches and was asked if I try to pop my own back on multiple occasions. The actual service was definitely rushed I didn't even get to exhale on the cracks and then my lower back actually felt worse (still feels pretty awful). Then I was advised to come in the next morning to set up more appointments consistently ( I go every three months) to fix the lower back problem that was made worse by the chiropractor. Will probably not come back.

I've been a patient of chiropractic since I was 2 days old. I've been a regular patient of this clinic and other local Joint locations since 2018. The current doctor at this location, Dr. Anthony Nguyen, is one of the best, if not the best, DCs I've been treated by. He is gentle while being very effective. He has a nice, calming personality too. I'm currently pregnant, and I have a rheumatoid condition that attacks the tendons around my joints. I'm also generally picky about my adjustments. Dr. Nguyen skillfully takes care of my body by addressing not just the joints themselves but the muscles that affect each joint. I ALWAYS feel better after his adjustments. All of the clinic staff here are friendly and helpful. I like the owners too: they take care of their staff so the staff can take care of the patients. I 100% recommend this clinic for your regular chiropractic care.

I came here 2 hours before closing time and they only had 1 person before me, place was empty and they told me they couldn't see me because they have a limit of new patients they can see a day, I asked the doctor Natalie if she could please see me and she said to talk to the guy up front so basically it was a no. I went to a different The Joint office the one on Bunker Hill and they were quick to say yes even though they had alot of people still waiting. I would not recommend this place. I've been coming to this facility with what I thought was an injured back since November 2020. My first interaction with the staff and Laura at the front desk was good. All of the chiropractors have provided quality treatment. However, in January I came in and Dr. Nguyen was there. He performed a very thorough exam and come to find out the pain in my back steamed from my hip joints. More specifically, the right hip joint. He took the time to explain to me what was happening in my body, demonstrated specific stretches to perform daily and stopped from running until he saw substantial improvement. His caring manner and ability to clearly explain why I was feeling pain and discomfort is priceless. I've grown to trust and respect his diagnosis and recovery strategy. He treats you like a patient that he cares about and gives you quality service to get you back on your feet. This week he released me to run again after a three week rest. He monitored my progress and released me to run a little more. He's completely awesome! He provides the patient care we used to get before we became a "number". The front desk staff is also awesome. I feel like Laura is my buddy because she's always warm and kind when I enter. I can't remember the other young lady's name that works the front desk, but she has the same warm, kind spirit. If you're in pain and want to work with a great team that cares... get your joints in the building. You won't regret it.

I had no physical or audible cracks, he just basically touched my neck, put a little pressure on my back, and stretched my lower back, the said "that'll do it". I went in and was seen by Dr. Cook and was horribly disapointed. He put a pit of pressure here, a bit there, got a few pops from my neck and called it done. I asked if he would actually pop my back and he said he did. He didn't. That was barely enough pressure to stretch the muscles. He did my neck face up, my chart clearley states not to. Worst chiro ever. If you need little to no pressure he may do it for you. Oh, and on the side pops he didn't bother to ensure I was properly positioned., he just pulled a leg up and pushed a bit and called it done. I hate that I paid for that.

What a horrible experience I just had with the chiropractor named Shawn Delk. My visit lasted 5 minutes and this is how it went: 1 minute of reviewing my file, me explaining about my shoulder injury, 3 minutes of him telling me how a chiropractor won't help my injury, me telling him that I have been informed of that during my other visits (at a different location) but that I already pre-paid for 8 visits and I had 4 visits left and I just wanted them to keep doing what they had been doing so far until I ran out of visits (my previous 4 visits at the Holcombe location have been amazing by the way). I also explained (silly me thinking that he would care) that I wanted to give chiro a try before anything else since The Joint advertises shoulder pain; to this he responded "I know what's advertised" and proceeded to say that this was a soft tissue problem not a structure problem (or something like that). After that, it was 30 seconds of chiro Delk "adjusting" my upper back and left shoulder (2 cracks). And finally, 30 seconds of me asking if that was it and him saying things like "you need to see an orthopedist" "Well you don't want us to touch your neck" and a loud "UGH" as I was walking away. Done! What a sorry excuse of a chiropractor! I’ve been to several Joint locations and seen many chiropractors and Dr. Shawn is the best! He remembers his regular clients by name and their individual needs. I highly recommend him. The front staff is always friendly and efficient as well. The location is always clean and convenient. Unless you are fragile or elderly, I don’t recommend Dr. Cook. He’s a bit too gentle for me in his adjustment.

I have been going to the Joint for 3 years and during those years Dr. Shawn and his staff have been absolutely the greatest.. Louran at the front desk is the nicest and always greets me as I walk in. I have the wellness plan and I go periodically every week to get adjusted. There service is always fast and I'm always coming out feeling relieved. I would definitely recommend to get their wellness plan and go weekly to keep your spine maintained rather than for pain / discomfort to build up and then deciding to go.

So, I started going to The Joint a couple of months ago and I signed up for $69 a month for four times a month and was told I had to get automatic payments taken out for just two months. I was never told I had to go up there to cancel. I finished my appointments about two weeks ago. I then had a family emergency and was out of town dealing with that and The Joint was the last thing on my mind. While I’m away I see they take out another payment. I call and question it and I’m then informed that I can’t cancel over the phone and they won’t refund me even though I explained my situation. I went up there the other day and cancelled. I will NEVER go back due to customer service therefore, a whole month is paid for and wasted. Do NOT go here. It’s a rip off. To your reply, yes you are right I did sign it. My issue is the care that the employee had for me as a customer with what I was dealing with being out of town and not able to cancel. There should be a better policy for how to cancel. Although, big companies only care about the dollar and I do not support businesses like that.

I went in to The Joint on a Monday after experiencing sciatic pain over the weekend. I met Dr. Shawn, who assured me I came to the right place. He took the time to explain what he was going to do, he even showed me in the mirror how uneven my shoulders were. I never noticed. Instantly, I had some relief and after two days I was completely pain free. I am still seeing Dr. Shawn on a weekly basis just as maintenance. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Shawn is the best at what he does in my book. I have been singing high praises about the Joint ever since. I wrote a review on The Joint's Facebook page and recommended them to a complete stranger, who said she was in severe pain after a car accident. I went in for the first visit after being referred to “The Joint” from 2 people. I went into this location after a sudden onset of severe low back pain, worse than I knew what to do about it. I was in fairly bad shape, couldn’t touch my toes without pain, or sit and I was afraid to lift anything. Dr. Sean Delk adjusted me and by the time I drove home I was much, much better. I mean pain gone. One visit was worth it’s weight in gold. I was really stunned. And they have a lot of satisfied clients walking in and out constantly, it was kind of eye opening to me! Right when you enter this location the front office staff is very welcoming. Wait time to see the doctor is never more than 5 minutes. I would recommend signing up for a plan. You pay more up front but you end up saving A LOT of money. I used to pay almost triple the amount for getting one adjustment at a different chiropractor, which meant that I couldn’t afford to go as often as my body needed. Dr. Delk is the best! He is very knowledgeable and attentive.

I always get a treatment for my legs and knee with Dr. G. When Dr. G is on vacation I get treatment with Dr. Cook. OMG! Is he a licensed chiropractor? He spent 2 minutes pressing my back and neck. The service is good, but the business practice is terrible. 69 bucks a month, without notice of automatic payments. I stopped going to the joint 3 months ago and I'm still being charged 69 bucks a month. Along with that I would think I still get to keep the visitors I prepaid for... But of course they said use it or lose. I highly recommend you only pay for the visits up front and take a picture of the paperwork before submitting. Update on 6/29/18 If you ever have TMJ pain, you have to come to The Joint to have it treated. Long painful story short.... after ten days of pain in my jaw joint, I came to understand that this issue can be treated through Chiropractic care. DR. COOK after JUST ONE treatment relieved so much pain. I could not believe it. That evening I was able to eat chips again and the next day I was chewing gum. Dr. G and Dr. Delk have also treated my jaw. All of the Doctors use slightly different techniques and my jaw has been in great shape since. From Oct, 2017: Awesome Chiropractors with great skills and experience! The monthly plans are awesome. And a local office is even open on Sunday! Wow! I can get in and out of their office very quickly which allows me to go during my lunch hour during the week. I used my plan at another Joint office in another State when I was on a trip; just amazing.

WOW!!! Dr. Zuniga is a miracle-worker. I was in constant, debilitating pain from reinjuring a sports injury recently. I admit I kept my expectations low that a chiropractor could help with injured muscles along with bones, but it was like he could read my mind regarding where I was in pain. His innovative treatment methodology is results-oriented; suffice it to say that I am a believer. The rehab exercises he has me doing are so helpful.
