Dr. Jim Womick got his undergraduate degree in Human Biology. He later graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1994 with his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree and his certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). He says the best part about working in chiropractic is seeing the way he can positively affect patients’ lives and being able to work with active people of all skills and age groups.

When Dr. Womick is not working he enjoys hiking, soccer, and football. He is the father of three grown children, 2 sons, and a daughter.

Dr. Sharinelle Marie Pagan-Mercado grew up in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She attended Universidad Metropolitana where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology. She later graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2021 with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She says the best part about being in the chiropractic field is being able to serve her community and networking with other doctors who can provide innovative insight regarding ways to improve patient care.

When Dr. Sharry is not working she enjoys collecting indoor plants, traveling, board games, street art, watching movies, tv shows, and playing video games.

She knew chiropractic was for her while working a summer job for a chiropractor. She says, “I landed a summer job working for a chiropractor while I was doing my bachelor’s degree. I had never had chiropractic care myself before and the doctor had very graciously offered to treat me free of charge while I worked helping her promote her practice. The way I saw people get better and regain confidence in their own body’s amazing ability to heal was what prompted me to begin my journey into exploring chiropractic as a potential career path.”

One thing Dr. Sharry always has in her fridge is Puerto Rican sofrito. She says, “It’s a homemade spread we use as a base to cook most of our dishes. Always a staple in my kitchen.”
